As I was typing the last post, Secret lost the second game to Newbee which ties the score to 1-1. In both games they picked, to quote Nahaz, “cute“ lineups. First was a Lesh game and the second one was Huskar game. Really hope that they pick something usual and comfy. I also want them to win!
ESL Major started and guess what I am going to do while I watch it? Spam my timeline (dashboard/ whatever you call your “wall“). Not to myself: learn tumblr terminology.
My fascination with this site is still not waning, but hey it’s still day one of my tumblring. Anyway, in other gaming related news I am playing Fallout 4, Castlevania Circle of the Moon and some Pokemon rom hack, Nameless Red, I think.
Fallout 4 came out at the same time as The Witcher 3 and it was it’s direct competition, so I kinda threw hate at it because ... Well I don’t know why, maybe because I love drama and rivalries (wait till you see how big of a Dota elitist I am) and maybe because it took game awards left and right despite it’s reported bad story and some other shit. Of course, I was on the Witcher side at the time, and it was unimaginable for me to think anything nice about the F4, let alone to play it. Also I am kinda not really interested in FPS/TPS games, so there is that. With this long and unnecessary intro out of the way lt’s just say that even though the game has some flaws, namely chat wheel options, meh story and bad optimization, I kinda enjoy it. It’s a new world to explore, it’s a change of pace for me because I don’t usually play shooters and it can make me forget about Dueling Fates for hours.
Castlevania is something I play while I watch streams. The same goes for that Rom Hack. For some reason I can calmly sit/lay down and watch a stream as it is. No, I have to play or do something while I watch them. Anyway, both of those games are a standard representation of their series and I don’t know what else to add. End of this entry.
In Dota 2 related news, ESL Hamburg is about to start soon, but I can’t say that I am extra hyped for it. All my hype was spent a day or two before Valve announced the Dueling Fates release date. Now I am in the state of void, where only Dueling Fates can bring me back to life. In spite of that, I will still watch Hamburg and root for Secret (even though they will disappoint me yet again).
