@spocksbedsidemanner and I had a rather lengthy chat about Spocks family staying at the McCoy’s when they were kids, and you end up with this ridiculous morning where Bones wakes Spock up early to come watch cartoons and eat pancakes, and Spock is still struggling through jet lag, so he’s not in a good mood. Spock keeps commenting on the scientific impossibilities in the cartoons “you can not run fast enough to cause a shock wave, there is no known species who can do that without the aid of technology” eventually Bones cracks and tell him to shut up, so the rest of the cartoon is spent in silence with Spock’s eyebrow twitching every time something he disagrees with occurs, and Bones sighing greatly whenever he does so.
