also fake ria isn't really phased, she's just very confused after hanging out with fake peppino and bruno in the slums (mainly the abandoned pizzeria) so much lol
(also im really digging this side art style with no antialiasing and simple shading)
here’s a ref of ria in pizza massacre cause she loves peppino in every universe…. lol a ref for a cancelled resident evil 2d styled game that came before pt that is currently having a fanmade remake in the works
pizza massacre ria is different in some ways, more anxiety, her story, how she met peppino, and her hammer is just an ordinary one that’s only in one size (i like to imagine that massacre takes place before tower so yes, it’s before she got that expensive hammer she uses in tower as a gift from the husband of one of her mother’s friends)
she has this outfit cause she literally just wanted to go try out peppino’s pizza that she never had before which was 40 minutes away from where she lives, and also cause it’s a few years before she came up with the costume she wears in PT (and this is the same reason why her hammer in PM does not have the pink swirl unlike in PT), but she unexpectedly unknowingly got cursed to go to the mansion where massacre takes place in, cause peppino was there to make a pizza delivery that promised a generous tip for him. if peppino was at that cursed weird mansion, then the mansion would make ria unknowingly drive there too cause she intended to go to peppino’s pizzeria. ria was so confused on how she even arrived to the freaking mansion, she did not want to go there so she tried to drive to her intended destination to eat peppino’s pizza, but the strange cursed aura of the mansion just…. urged her to go in there simply because the owner of her intended destination was cursed to be in the mansion. that’s how she met peppino and experienced the strangely pizza-themed horrors in there. to her and peppino, it was the most important day of their lives on a tuesday
