Our fantastic Korean film series begins this Wednesday. Up first is "Chi-hwa-seon" ("Painted Fire"), a vivid portrait of renowned Joseon dynasty painter Jang Seung-eop. A conversation with Hyunsoo Woo (the Museum's Maxine and Howard Lewis Associate Curator of Korean Art), and UPenn associate professor Eugene Y. Park follows the screening.
