I've given Cleo a species change and redesign!

She's always been a Pikachu since I first made her in 2006. I did try Shinx, mostly because they're more popular than Pikachu and I was worried after meeting so many aggressive Pikachu haters over the years. But there are MANY people with a Shinx on their teams, including comics that have a much larger following than mine. I also realized I wasn't doing that because I wanted to, and that the species didn't seem to fit her well. So she's a Pikachu again.

Her father is going to be a Luxray, and she's still going to be from the Luxray Tribe in Amp Plains (that wasn't her original backstory but I ain't telling y'all the cringy stuff my teenage self wrote for her lmaoooo)

Also yes she has an overbite. I see her as being more meerkat-like than mouse-like.
