Thanks to all the members of PML for these awesome past months, im sad I cant participate as much on conversations as I would like due to time restrictions, but nonetheless every snippet of time i have been able to steal for you guys has been fun and bright for me @emeralddrop @texmexchexmix @i-read-good-books @brettanomycroft @luullaby @667-darkavenue @battleshidge are just a few i can name off the top of my head, but many, many more people have made my time up till now in project ml amazing, i hope i can still be here for the next anniversary of PML and keep enjoying what you create with so much enthusiasm

One year of Project ML

One year! Woo! Why did I join Project ML? Let me tell you the harrowing tale full of adventure and intrigue!

P:ML let me meet SOOO many cool people! Like @emeralddrop @tycoker-va @wintermoth @ladybugandblackchat @rionydal and many more. All the members of P:ML are so kind, encouraging, And understanding that I consider each and every one of them as family. 

Without P:ML I have no idea how I would have made it all the way throug 2016. It's been a crazy year, but I wouldn't trade a single second of any of the time I've spent with all of the members for the world.

I honestly have so much more I want to say, but.... I got to beta one of the chapters for our next project. Ciao, and JOYEUX NOËL.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY P:ML!

Where to begin? I'm not very good with words so this might be horribly messy omg

I remember how I joined the fandom and I have to thank taylordraws for that lol.

So, I've been in fandoms before, sure, some musicians, maybe one or two movies, y'know the usual; but I never felt that happiness, that feeling of being totally welcomed in a fandom until I became a #miraculer. This fandom gave me SO MUCH in this past year and a half, I feel like I've grown up (funny, because it's mainly a kids' show). I met my first tumblr-best friend, I met an amazing unknown artist, I read so much fan fiction it's insane, I met one of my bestest (is this a word? I'm making this a word) friends ever here and I've had the opportunity to write with her, I did my very first fanart EVER because I was so overjoyed with the fandom I feel the necessity to and now I can't stop drawing that goofy cat boy and that clumsy princess because they are just too precious to me! I've literally never felt something like this over a show or even over a musician before.

Anyways Steph! Back to what's important here! Over a year back (I guess) I saw this post looking for people for something called "Project: Miraculous Ladybug". I thought 'please, what would you possibly have to offer to them? your presence? haha no' but at the same time I said 'hey, what do I have to lose? I bet I'll be so regretting it if I don't even try' so I clicked on that link, sent my info and 'lol I'm not getting in but it was fun', because I'm a pro being pessimistic almost all the time. So you wouldn’t believe my surprise on one of the first days of April when I was mentioned by the P:ML tumblr account saying that SWEET HONEY ICED TEA I was in! I was ecstatic and just so shocked that I could not believe it at first.

Jumping to my first interactions with the group, I could immediately tell they were sweethearts, every one of them in their own weird ways. So in my first weeks of talk, and talk, and talk I met those funny, caring, artistic, charismatic, beautiful, sweet (I have so many more adjectives for you guys) people that made those amazing pieces of work and I just loved being part of them.

Now I translate their hard work para mi gente with our mom @neitheram and my girls @thenameionceknew @shippinggirl @luullaby @i-read-good-books @runningoutofink and @imatekuani *lots of hugs*

I didn’t even know someone from CR liked the show (before it aired here) until I met @sialuart!

I still cannot believe that I talked to @thelastpilot @panda013 @miraculousturtle @piikopoko @chebits @toriitorii because GUYS. I admired you SO MUCH even before joining the project!! (I didn’t even know they were part of the project lol) and now I can include @ferisae on this list too!! *cries rainbows*

Anyways, I would like to thank @emeralddrop because you are too pure for this world, your inniciative made all of this possible! All these people are now friends from all around the world because of you and our shared love for the show!

So thank you, Matt, and thank you P:ML scrubs. I’m just so happy to share so many memories and laughs with you and I hope you know I love you lots and you changed so many little things of me. Joyeux è anniversaire, Scrubs!

The “fan” side

This one is me rambling and being all emotional, so: lea bajo su propio riesgo

Ok, so I’ve not been part of tumblr for long. And even when I joined cause I wanted to answer some things, to be part of some fandoms, to talk to certain people, and despite the barrier created by an alias and an account, I can say I’m more of a lurker (...cause that doesn’t sound creepy jeez).

The thing is I was suddenly absorbed by a certain series of a certain ladybug girl and a certain cat boy.

And still, even as I had ideas, creations, comments, I guarded them close.

But then I saw this group of people getting together to just...create. And I thought “wow, that’s some inniciative. Must be hard working and coordinating so much people, but it’s gotta be cool be part of something so big”

And then came the post looking for new members.

I thought about it. I said nah. I thought that’s not for me.

But...the idea lurked inside my brain (cause we’ve established lurking can  be my thing).

And I thought about when I read their first project and my thoughts of “mmmm I would’ve done this or chose that” and couldn’t leave it. I was already planning on going into this translation course, but honestly? It’s for technical texts and this was literature, fiction, fanfiction, fandom, and a series I was coming to deeply enjoy.

And hey, maybe if my contributions were part of something bigger, if more people could watch for my trippings and I could point out the things I saw, somehing better could come out, maybe sharing wouldn’t be so intimidating.

Still doubting I just leaned on one of my life’s philosophies: live without regrets.

So “To hell with it” and sent it was.

And WHOA

Just WHOA

Because yes, I worked and learned and did still lurk on chats and stuff (cause habits are hard to ignore), but I also rambled, read, laughed, was worried, sad, happy, proud.

I helped someone with learning my language.

I gave my support to people who needed it.

I read stories and learned from experiences that happened all over the world.

I saw people coming out of their shells like me.

I experienced people panic by different events in their little spaces in the world.

I saw them be strong and support each other.

I met families and pets (omg people, how do you have so many beautiful pets).

I have seen how this group connected human beings in a way that’s pretty especial and it’s been pretty rewarding.

I really wish I could thank everyone that has ever said hi to me, has said sorry that you’re feeling down or are ill, anyone who epathizes with finals, exams, schoolwork, family issues and whatsnot.

I’ve met lots of nice human being that make the world a brighter place, and damn, I’m terrified to forget someone (tell me if I do and I’ll fucking edit and add), but I gotta say having @neitheram being our translating mom (¡no mandes la chancla, te queremos!), tener locuras en el chat de traductores con @thenameionceknew, @shippinggirl , @tahciram, saber que soy compatriota de alguien tan taletosa como @ferisae, being able to see @wintermoth doing her magic (goddamit you ‘re talented AF, Moon), reading stories from people like @miraculousturtle, @thelastpilot, @sarahcada,  @panda013, just bapticing the pv silver fox with @shadybug, lsitening to @piikopoko, knowing the adventures of members like @chassecroise or @adjit (power to ducks) or @ladybugandblackchat , every little moment in this group has been a breath of fresh air. It’s been radiant and nice. So, thank you @emeralddrop​ for letting me bepart of this. You Matt, do an incredible job, and should be hella proud of yourself, I know I am proud to have met you, to have met evey member of this thing.

So happy first year for this corner of the internet, this group of scrubs that can enjoy and create and cry and rant. This group that came together and has it’s own share of lucky (and unlucky) members who somehow end up balancing each other.

Happy birthday, Project ML.

I love you all too much, and I am glad I got in to PML without a clue of what I was getting myself into.

(Even though I’m always sick rip) You guys managed to make me feel welcome in a place that I did not trust (the interwebs are dangerous, kids)

I really still can’t believe I’m part of suck an amazing group of people and fandom I am just always so happy to see everyone have so much fun (while procrastinating lol) on our projects and enjoying our scrub chat haha.

I am a simple person. I see puns and im hooked. Which is why I loved Miraculous Ladybug so much.

I don’t know how I came across the infamous post recruiting for PML but I just filled and was never expecting to get in (yes, like every single member says) since I’m am just a lurker on tumblr lol

There are far so many reasons why I love PML so much, it would take far too long to like even type.

P:ML ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Okay, so I’m really late in doing this BUT IT’S STILL DECEMBER 12TH (10:05pm CST as I start this) and I’m going to do this anyway!

The Miraculers that follow me should remember that I’m part of this crazy and wacky group of scrubs over at @project-ml, and today marks a full year of this zany bunch. We’ve lost a few along the way and gained a few more, and throughout the tumultuous journey, we’ve made a lot of memories.

Everyone in P:ML is such an important person to me, even if we don’t always talk much (and I’ve been one of the worst offenders of this little thing called “dropping off the face of the planet” in the last few weeks/months--blame Voltron: Legendary Defender and Final Fantasy XV for that), and they all mean so much to me.

Firstly, though, I’d like to thank @emeralddrop for bringing us all together. Though he be but young, he’s the driving force and don’t let anyone tell you any differently. Matt, without you, I don’t know how we ever would have gotten together like this, and it means so much more than you could ever know. I have a scattered network of buddies now, from here in the States and the Americas to people in Europe, Asia, Australia...it’s so crazy to think about. And you made it happen, you clever smol you. Thank you so much. I’m so honored to be a part of this crazy group.

And I don’t know where I’d be without @ladybugandblackchat. John, the smooth-talking fuck that he is. I don’t know how many times I’ve complained to him at random hours and he’s responded (JOHN, GO TO SLEEP) but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We’ve bounced ideas, we’ve played online drinking games, we’ve flirted, we’ve Skyped, I’ve beta’d almost every chapter of his amazing fic I know you (and he’s gonna kill me for linking it again but you gotta do what you gotta do, man) and I’m still not sure he understands just how much he means to me. No matter how many heart-to-hearts we have at like, 2am (8am for him...go to sleep, John). 

Can’t forget @thelastpilot, either. Pilot, you kinda disappeared on me, but I LOVE YOU. And it’s probably like, 95% because of Pilot that anyone in the ML fandom ever started to read my stuff, because she was an A+ promoter, man. And my first contributions to the fandom were fanarts for Rainy Days, sooooooo. XD I miss you, Pilot, but I’m sooooo, so happy I got to know you! Even before P:ML brought us together even more than before.

AND THE LOVELY @miraculousturtle, MY TURTLE-HIME-WAIFU-CHAN! Babe, I love you! You’re a gem, you’re amazing, we talk on the phone sometimes and text far less than we should for being married with a frog, but I still love you. We sent each other care packages when I was absolutely drowning in schoolwork in like, February, and that chocolate was a lifesaver. Plus I got this really great nerd mug that reads, “I will figuratively die if you literally misuse that word” and I have literally washed it like ten times in the last week so I can use it for whatever coffee/tea/cocoa I want to drink. And then I spent like, $30 on books because she just had to send me Cinder and I couldn’t rest until I’d finished the series...XD. I LOVE YOU. I MISS YOU. WE SHOULD TALK MORE. And yet again, I wouldn’t have this wonderful relationship if it wasn’t for P:ML throwing us together.

For a time, John, Pilot, Turtle, and I were tentatively known as the “Sin Ship” for P:ML. I won’t go into details, but it was great and I miss those days. Everyone’s a bit too busy now, but I Will Never Forget.

@rionydal is a precious sunshine babe that I really need to talk to more than I do. I MISS YOU TASH AND I LOVE YOU AND I SWEAR I DON’T IGNORE YOU. I see every message you send me on Discord/Tumblr/Snapchat...I’m just really bad at replying. AND THIS KID. GUYS. SHE’S IMPROVED SO MUCH WITH HER ARTWORK IN JUST THIS ONE SHORT YEAR. I’VE WATCHED A CATERPILLAR GROW INTO A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY AND I’M UTTERLY FLABBERGASTED BY THE TALENT. Seriously, Tash, you never cease to amaze me. If I had even an ounce of that GREATNESS, I wouldn’t know how to handle it! You’re amazing, and I love you!

@stardusted is fucking amazing, guys. Or I guess I should tag her at @chassecroise, huh? She’s dedicated and strong and when she puts her mind to it, she can do anything. Did you know she’s a Fulbright scholar and she’s had an internship at CN???? Just walking in her shadow is more than I can even dream of. Like, holy shit. Priya, I don’t know what else I can say to you that I haven’t already told you before, but...I love you. You’re fantastic and amazing and I’m so, so glad we started talking more in the last three or four months.

This is getting super, super long, but I also wanted to give shout-outs to @shadybug and @adjit, both of whom I’ve met with! Precious, adorable, wonderful people and I’m just gonna continue to be a potato, please and thank you! 

@texmexchexmix and @brettanomycroft are great group moms, though Teal is a Rarity and I hardly see her anymore (psssssst Teal we should talk more <3) and @piikopoko is just so talented I can’t even. She sings, she plays music, she draws - what can’t she do? SIREN SCRUB IN DA HOUUUUUSEEEEEEE. And our video goddess @wintermoth--I’ve been thinking of you SO MUCH in the last three days because I keep singing Melodies of Life to myself. Ha.

There are honestly so many more people I want to thank, to show appreciation for, but I should cut it here. I just want everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, past and present members of P:ML, to know that I appreciate every moment I’ve spent in the same group as them. 

You’re all so amazing. I’m so honored to be one of you, to be able to watch as you all continue to progress and to grow (and to make me feel like I’m getting OLD even if I’m only 23 now)...and thank you so much.

It’s been a wonderful year, and here’s to another!

P:ML one Year Anniversary!

I remember the first time I learned about Project ML. I was in tumblr and found this amazing Youtube-mini series about Miraculous Ladybug - which at the time was just starting to consume my fandom soul. It’s the first show in a long time that inspired me to draw and write and make fanart, and I was so ecstatic and wanted to share it with everyone I knew. My friends were not that into it at that time jaja.  I remember being awed by this group of people who joined to create simply because they liked something and it was fun. I loved the idea and I began following them.

And then applications happened. And I remember it took me like 4 days to send mine - even though I filled it in half an hour the day I read the post - because I was so nervous and I wasn’t sure if what I had was right or if my english level was good enough for it (now I’m translator head, can you imagine?) and I almost didn’t do it, but I did, and let me tell you, it’s been one of the best things that has happened to me this year. 

I got to meet amazingly fun and kind people like @wintermoth​, @emeralddrop @rionydal and @imatekuani​, got into some weird youtube-copyright translating adventures, drew spam worthy stuff, and got to be silly with everyone in the chat and play CAH and other things apart from the main ML project things, and even though I might not be the most talkative or social out there I still made our discord chat a part of my life. I’ll just take this chance to be sappy to say that every single one of you guys is amazing and wonderful and incredibly talented and kind and I love you all to death and I really hope we can keep on being friends for a long long time to come.
