That is a fucking killer line.
Isabel chose to save Max over her Spirit, while Forge’s words play overhead on the rationality of good and evil, oh god this scene.
His ghost buddy.....is satan.....his fucking bird alexa is satan
Spender wants to protect the town for good, so he will do anything for information to stop the danger once and for all. He has trained the kids to make sure that they can protect themselves too. But can I say, I love how Forge flares up at the thought that Spender called the kids on the train “secondary”.
Hey there is Anvil Ghost. Hi Anvil Ghost! What, what’s this? Oh No! A Train is coming!!! Anvil Man, you need to run!! Oh Golly No! He’s wearing Ghost Airpods! He can’t hear us OR the Train! Oh Nooooo!
And here we have a clash of ideas. Because yeah, Forge didn’t need to do that evil thing. And yeah, he is trying to push responsibility onto Spender. But now we see why they are great opposing forces, because how would you act for the good of the whole. Do you “wait for it and plan ahead” of “act in the present like you’re running out of time”
God...Forge is a war vet. He became disillusioned by the work he had done and now sees Spender as someone who he once was.
All of those are highly valid reasons, and I was right on the Dog Fear thing!
