6: Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence?

Aiden doesn’t realize how smart he actually is. He’ll give himself credit for some things, but his creativity, and his gift for being a tactical thinker definitely helps him to get, and stay ahead when it comes to surviving in the apocalypse.

His personal views on his own intelligence are actually quite low.

7: Does your OC have any irrational phobias?

Aiden’s biggest fear comes from when his mother passed away. She got into an accident on her drive home, and ended up trapped inside of her car, which had become completely submerged in water.

Because of how his mother died, he has a strong phobia to large bodies of water--anything deep enough to fully submerge your body in and ‘swim’ under the surface is too deep for him. You won’t catch him anywhere near even the shallow ends, without him breaking into a slight panic.

8: How is/was your OC’s relationship with their parents?

Aiden used to have what could be called a ‘perfect’ life with both of his parents, before his mother’s accident. After that, his father’s deep depression drove them apart, and Aiden came to have a severe disdain for him. Although deep down he always cared for his father, on the surface he would always make extra steps to avoid being ‘just like him’.

He always felt like when he lost his mother, he truly lost both of them.

At other times, he’ll also hint to thinking that his father hated him, somehow blaming her death on him, or preferring that he was dead over her.

9: Does your OC feel a pressure to achieve or are they content and calm with doing what they can at the moment?

When dealing with himself only, Aiden is quite content to allow things to go in whatever direction they may.

However, if he’s put to the task of tending to someone else’s needs, he’ll always push those extra few steps, to ensure everything falls according to plan. Aiden becomes an over-achiever, and tries to branch his thinking out for every possibility he might face, just in case he needs a quick change of pace to get things done.

He doesn’t like to feel like a failure in someone else’s eyes.

They had been sitting in the elevator for hours--and Raynold’s legs were getting cramped. He just wanted to get out of here and go to buy groceries. His mother and Lucy were waiting for him at home. He knew it was a bad idea to go to look for apartments near the University he recently got accepted to--now he’s stuck in one of the elevators.

“...When do you think they’re gonna fix this thing? I wanna go home.”

    Rin frowned a little, looking up from the book he was reading     when he felt eyes on him. He saw the one responsible for     that crawling feeling he had that came with someone staring.      “You know...it’s rude to stare.” He said quietly.
