1. Mateusz M.

I was really tempted to do a 2 way FCO for the first time on the blog but I talked myself out of it since there is one minor flaw in Ewa’s side that takes her down to 2nd. Ignoring that, this shot overall is fucking stellar! I’ll mainly focus on Mateusz M here obviously since I think he did the best out of the pair. It’s what I wanted from a lot of the male models, some damn diversity in their looks and a unique stand out so they don’t look like a prop. His expression is so lovely, I adore the soft expression on his face and the loving glare into Ewa’s body. His body obviously looks amazing but him lightly touching the gun is a nice touch and shows off the (dumb) theme being shown. The light gently touching him is a great touch, he looks like a war-torn angel resting after a long time of fighting. I love this shot overall but if it was any other guy, I don’t think I would love this shot as much as I already do, Mateusz M made the shot his own and richly deserved his FCO.

2. Ewa

Like Mateusz M, I don’t think any other girl could replace Ewa and recreate the magic of this shot. I will say that the main gripe I have with Ewa’s side of the shot is that she turned her face a tad too far to the camera. Obviously, it’s not that big of a deal but I wish Ewa could cheat a bit to show off a bit of her face like Mateusz M. Even with that small detour, Ewa did a perfect job! She propped herself up really well with Mateusz M, their chemistry is definitely the main factor to why this shot is as good as it is. The one eye looking down to Mat’s eyes is a nice touch and I love the detail with the slight inhale on Ewa’s part. Her profile is a great angle (then again, any angle works with Ewa) but call me weird for this, but I really like the placement of her hands on Mat M. Not because of anything weird, I just like how she placed them pretty delicately and was able to create some chemistry between the two. Ewa did her best work to date!

3. Daniel

A lot of people seem to prefer Adam over Daniel in this shot so it really depends on if you prefer how self aware Daniel looks or the more natural feeling of Adam’s shot. I for one much prefer Daniel’s self aware approach to the shoot, thus why he’s above Adam. Daniel’s face is just drop-dead gorgeous. The angle of his face is perfect, I like the subtle pissed off expression on his face and the hint of a smirk on his lips. I actually prefer him looking at the camera since personally, if Adam is going to look at the camera and Daniel look at him, it wouldn’t make sense to me, if that makes sense. His body could use some work, I do appreciate how realistic it is with the hunched back language of the pose. He did shorten himself though thanks to the lunch. Even with that major flaw, Daniel did great and continues his good photo streak.

4. Adam

Well, today’s a cold day in hell because I gave Adam a top 5 spot, shocking. Yeah, I really like Adam’s side of the photo. I mostly put Adam below Daniel because he doesn’t feel as natural to the scene while Daniel looks like a war-torn soldier. However, credit where credit is due, Adam did a fantastic job in his standards. His face has never looked better, gone is the smug shitty face, now he actually looks like a confident soldier. I like the shoulder glare, his eyes have a lot of emotion to it and for once, he actually looks attractive. His body also looks great and he executed the pose really well. I’m shocked that Daniel and Adam were even able to get this considering how the both hated each other but it ended up with Adam’s personal best and another great performance from Daniel.

5. Natalia (left)

Considering how rough on set it was for Natalia and Daria, I’m shocked that they were even able to get a decent shot in the first place. Natalia was able to edge out Daria for me personally. I mostly like the pose here. The lift of the leg is nice and the angle of her body is overall great, especially the slight bend of her back. Her face is the main reason why she’s so low down though. Obviously, her features are stunning (it’s hard to not make them look good) but the entire expression reads as stiff. There’s no expression or emotion to her face and while I like the confident look in the camera, the neck and lip area are just TENSE. If she afforded to loosen up her neck region, this could be a smashing shot from Natalia.

6. Ola

Ola’s setup and shot in general just smells like sabotage. I wouldn’t consider her one of the most robbed models in the cast but it doesn’t make sense why she got a more acting type shot alongside shooting solo. It just smells fishy. Ola clearly did the best she could with the assignment though. She looks pretty and like a model and even if the acting is pretty wacky, she did the best she could with the assignment. Her profile is a great angle for her and although she could afford to relax her mouth, she perfectly conveyed sadness here. The pose could’ve been better. The leg placement is pretty damn awkward and I hate the honky place she placed her hands, especially the one on her head. It feels too over-dramatic. All that said, I still believe that Ola was 100% sabotaged and pretty damn robbed, she did have some rocky photos but her strong start alongside her photo last week shows that she clearly had a ton of potential.

7. Daria (right)

Daria was really excited to do this type of shoot considering that she would get to be topless (thanks to censoring, you can’t see it) and even with Daria’s cheerful happy approach to the shot, I can’t bring myself to love it. It’s mainly because even with a meh performance by Natalia, Natalia just sucks in all the attention from Daria. It’s mainly due to everything I had a problem with Natalia but maxed out to the 100s. The pose is just stiff with a capital S. I can like the risk with the peace hands in the air since it fits the theme perfectly. However, her legs looks stiff, especially since she bent herself down slightly so the pose looks off as the result. Even with the messy pose, the face is not any better. She not only lose the neck but the face feels stiff, even with her features looking great, the eyes look shocked and the smile makes the shot much more awkward. Daria goes down once again.

8. Patryk

Besides the mess of Ada/Mateusz Z, Patryk and Kamila’s shot was a bizarre mess. Patryk was only about to do slightly better since I can give him credit for giving out some emotions but it’s still an grade A mess. His eyes are trying to go for dead but he looks more tired and wonky more than anything. His face is usually the biggest redemption for him but for once, I think his face ruins a shot for me. There’s no more of its amazing bone structure and the rocky emotion, like Ola, ruins the shot for me. His body looks nice at least but I’m not a big fan of the leg holding itself up, thus shortening him. Patryk once again disappoints me.
