I am reflecting on a couple good weeks sales.wise this morning at @mycoffeeroseburg, and some good potential for the next couple. In order for everything to work though is going to require some good logistical planning. I try also not to get excited about the big sales. I have found that they are the hardest to reel in and finalize. Someone gets sick, someone backs out, or folks just drop off the map. Probably of all the contacts I get, probably only about a third end up in a sale. Of anything over a few hundred bucks, even less. No errands in town this morning, so taking my organizational time @the_atom_coffee_bar this morning. There is something peaceful about catching the sunrise from the inside of a coffee shop. As I am taking more time to focus marketing, I am learning how important it is to follow up on every lead. Sometimes a second contact is what it takes, or showing folks I am serious about my business. I am still trying to crack the nut of the making this work in my rural location. Clearing my mind this morning at @mycoffeeroseburg. Last Monday morning session of the year, but the schedule is already filling up for the next couple weeks. It was a pretty frustrating weekend business wise. I had a TON of contacts and leads. Probably more in the last few days then all month. After all the time, pictures, and figuring out logistical options I ended up with just a couple small sales. The most frustrating is folks who get a back and forth going, then just ghost in the middle of a conversation. I have been dealing with it for years as I have built my business and have accepted it as the norm, but when it happens almost a dozen times in a short period it gets fairly frustrating. There is not much more peacful and relaxing than a coffee shop before daylight. @the_atom_coffee_bar . We are headed up to Albany for a couple get a with Data is family but still squeezing in a little time this morning to plan my week and think about the future. My big push here for the next little while is going to be flipping some inventory, especially my kiln dried both my white oak, and softwood which I have had for some time. Any milling I do will either be beams or a little dimensional. Coffee is filled to the brim this Monday @mycoffeeroseburg as is my head with ideas. Its all a swirling mess and I need to get it all organized and prioritized. I am shifting gears for a bit from production to marketing. I am settled my next piece of equipment that I want to purchase being an @woodmizer slabmizer. I have the inventory, if I can get it sold to purchase one outright, I just need to focus on moving it.
