hellooo! could you help me find some indian fcs? maybe 20ish or eighteenish year olds?

the first person that came to mind was the wonderful megan suri (22) who's on the netflix show never have i ever. other than that, i don't know a ton of other indian faceclaims in that age range with resources but i would recommend checking out the south asian fc directory over at @sonamhelps or the indian faceclaim masterlist over at @tasksweekly. hope this helps!

edit: it’s come to my attention that i was wrong in saying that maitreyi ramakrishnan was indian when she’s in fact tamil sri lankan. i have replaced her with megan suri from the same show who is indian.

ALTERNATIVES TO FAN BINGBING : 41 FEMALE ACTRESSES OF CHINESE DESCENT ( because you’re all really out there thinking she’s the only chinese woman, and if not her then it’s zhang ziyi and occasionally liu tao )

faceclaims are listed in order of age as of september 2017 (oldest to youngest) in the format “NAME (AGE) | ETHNICITY”.  note: ethnicity and nationality are NOT the same. a number of these faceclaims are mixed-race and not simply born / raised in a different country.

IMPORTANT NOTE & PSA BEFORE PROCEEDING: use the faceclaims for characters who are the same ethnicity as them, please and thank you. so many people are still getting it wrong ( yes, casting a korean fc for a chinese muse still happens ! ), and as an east-asian poc in the rp community it aggravates me to no end that people are still finding excuses for racist behaviour. thinking it’s okay to use one ethnicity in place of another completely different ethnicity is, in essence, implying that they’re interchangeable and saying they’re ‘practically the same thing’ - recognise that this is offensive.

please use this list accordingly and use the faceclaims for characters of their respective ethnicities. if you can’t find one that matches or fits, hold off on adding a faceclaim until you do. you’ll live without using a faceclaim and icons for the time being, trust me, and it’s far better than being lazy and racist.

there’s also plenty of other resources out there available for you to find a suitable faceclaim. additionally, please don’t whitewash your icons/graphics. for more guidance on how to recognise and avoid this, refer to this handy post !

hello! could you please recommend some darker-skinned latina fcs who have pictures or gifs with glasses? thank you!

i'll admit, this was kind of hard to find as unfortunately, darker skinned latinas are criminally underrepresented in the rpc and in general but i did manage to find these fcs that i think could work: tatyana ali (42), tessa thompson (38) and zoe saldana (43). unfortunately, the others i found didn't have any pictures with glasses i could find. i hope this helps you!
