ITERATORSONA BUT BETTER!!!! weird little guy who was built pretty early, but wasn't brought online until much closer to the mass ascension. plus his companion (and my slugcatsona) slugmold who brings its iterator friend weird things to look at

updated torches ref! i really wanted to update the art and also his little forehead marking.

he was built during the very end of whats considered generation two, and is one of the very few roaming models made, designed to be able to leave their chambers for short periods to do things like maintenance on their own structure. it was in preparation for when the ancients would all be ascended, roaming model iterators could continue to maintain their structures and prolong their already long lifespans. after torches came back damaged one cycle, the ancients decided that designing an iterator as strong as earlier models, but as lightweight and maneuverable as later models, was just not worth the resources and effort. torches spends a lot of his time exploring his own city and trying to figure out a way for him to be able to leave his can permanently, and hopefully get his friends free as well!
