Well, they’ve definitely done that (assuming you’re talking about my OC apprentices from Good Grammar & Wizardry By Consent) because I’m 99.9% sure this is an early reference to ‘indoor tennis’ a.k.a. Pocket Quidditch, the game we see Peter and Lesley playing in Whispers Under Ground, which I bet got very lively indeed if they were doing it without any sort of safety gear.
