Bob Marley - "Is this Love?" 🎥 I took a lesson with Thomas Pridgen almost 2 years ago and it changed my drumming life. My confidence and pride were at an all time high, much too high in fact. Thinking I was going to walk in there and impress him, my ego was quickly shattered as he pointed out flaws either my previous teachers hadn't noticed / were too timid to point out. Seeing the speed and ease in which he played these licks I was struggling to play at half time was a strong combo of humbling and embarrassing. I felt lower drumming wise than ever, but in that moment I realized how much longer/harder I needed to work to get to where I wanted to be. Still nowhere near there yet, but maybe next time I won't get a "what the hell are you doing with your left hand bro?" Thanks for the tough love @badassthomaspridgen #pocketchallenge (@vicfirth @remopercussion @zildjiancompany @gopro)
