Poetic Meter Assignment
Hi everyone, during this homework what I'm supposed to do is to find/choose a popular song which seems to have kind of like a metrical patterning. Why this? In order to have a clearer concept of what the meter actually refers to. In the same way, I'll also analize the number of feet in a line in order to determine its structure (trimeter, tetrameter, etc).
Since I really found it very difficult do this task, (I think this is not an easy task), I'll try to do my best at it, so if I do wrong or if my analisis is a total mess, I apologize. So, here we go:
1st song: Katy Perry, "Roar"
2nd song: Eminem, "The Way I Am".
