You know in Person of Interest whenever Root wanted to mess with people and she'd randomly bring up an incredibly obscure fact about them that immediately made the person she was talking to start sweating because wow you know the reason I'm named Lionel was because of a lion cub in a zoo the day they found out my mom was pregnant. I didn't even know that. Very not creepy at all.

Do we think she deliberately asked The Machine for random unsettling facts in preparation for meeting them? Or do we think The Machine followed along in conversations and picked the exact right time to feed Root the information?

Picturing The Machine with the same type of humour as Root seeing some guy insulting her and being like "Hey Root guess what this guy is making fun of you for being crazy but tell him his wife is about to divorce him for the mailman and see what happens." Like this is the intelligence who looked at all of humanity and picked the most unhinged killer for hire like hi yes you come be my chosen voice and superhero. Obviously Root gets a kick out of terrifying people but the thought of The Machine not just being happy to give her the information but also the one instigating sometimes? I love it.

(Bonus points if after the finale it changed it's sense of humour slightly to better mirror Shaw's. They're a new symphony after all, three instead of two. They can keep many parts of their old selves but they need to find a new rhythm for a new combination.)

i wonder if i turned my asks back on how long it would be before i got spam asks and how long before i got a genuine ask

i am gonna guess one day for spam and…. a few months for genuine ask

yeah not turning asks on

it would be nice if there were still people in the fandom who were excited about the ships and stories i like

i miss the days when I’d get asks from readers excited about a headcanon or project i was working on or sharing one of theirs… hell i miss seeing these from my mutuals! (like seeing them getting asks about their projects etc)

the fandom is so lonely

no one in my feed posts kuro stuff it feels like everyone has moved on to something else and when i post stuff no one really replies

like there are a couple of you who still remember i exist but that’s about it

like i posted i/e and didn’t make a new post with a pic but im glad i didnt bc no one reblogged either of the posts about it I did make/reblog so yeah

and it’s not just here same thing on other platforms basically it’s radio silence except maybe for one person

I hope to post the finished page soon, there is not much left. I forgot how tedious and relaxing using watercolor can be. How much time actually goes into a painting. Lately I just tossed out digital sketches (I am using the term "tossing" bc it doesn't take me that long to draw a full sketch page. I am also not well verse in digital media so it's never a full colored piece which would take more time ofc)

Art Blog!

Hey guys! I thought after 6 years of an unsteady whatever blog, it was about damn time to make a side blog where I’ll just upload my art! (Also because back then I didnt even know how to properly tag and the “my art”-tag is honestly just brought in 2016) I have already uploaded a few scans I have on my laptop because with this slow craptop I’m not going to reblog the past 6 years. So here it is!

Moved my art guides to a more central spot of my shelf (along with my comics) because I needed to rearrange sth while cleaning off dust. It made me realise how much it has grown over the years (and that I already have ordered two more pieces to add) It is also slightly ordered starting from the left with the gift magazines/books to an Aquarelle guide, architecture and perspective, color and build up guides, animal anatomy, nature/plants, human anatomy as well as literature and poetry I use for my ocs.

We had the “So why aren’t you adressing your stepfather as your father”-talk When people approach us and my mother or my stepdad refer to him as “the father” and people pry about it, I correct them and say “Actually, he is my stepfather” and that bothers my mother and my stepfather to no end. My mother even assumes I am purposefully trying to hurt my stepdad with this by wanting them to give them the feeling I do not see us as a family. While I accept he has certainly taken some sort of “father role”, I however cannot, and I repeat it with absolutely cannot, refer to him as a father. To me, my father and my stepfather are two different people. My father, who physically and mentally abused me as a child until he left me with a lie when I was 9, and my stepfather who cannot accept my personality, my disorders, my sexuality and my whole being in general. Saying father leaves a bad taste in my mouth, saying father makes me physically ill. Referreing to someone as a father is the biggest insult I can give. And yet it hurts me so much to say the word with the meaning: This is the person who raised me in this given parental role. So, I dont want to hurt them. I just want to protect myself. But thats not a reason they accept.
