It wasn't that often that Simon got to work with female photographers.
A lot of the work he did with sports brands and the like were very much lads in all areas of production, and, well. A lot of the technical lighting and lense configurations seemed to attract nerdy obsessives in jeans and t-shirts, rather than chicks.
Even doing more standard fashion label photography, it wasnt common to get female fashion photographers.
No, what you /did/ get was a lot of...well...they were guys. Technically. But Si didn't like working with them, didn't like it when they got touchy with him, telling hin to raise this arm or adjust that.
For God's sake, he'd /been/ at this a while. He knew what angles looked good with his face, with his body. Everyone thought you were just an idiot, when you were a model, but there was a lot involved about knowing your own body, what it could do and how it could look. If they could just /tell/ hin and not touch him, not ever, than that would be good.
For all that he'd been fucking over the moon six months ago when Thom had landed him the contract with Twelth Circle clothing, that aspect of it had made him a bit cautious.
That was until he met the particularly talented in-house photographer Tabatha Day-Merton, wjo always managed to produce particularly intense shots of him, and, well. She was just good to work with. He always got a little flourish in his stomach when he saw he had an appointment with her.
Also, for the record, not that did too much, being dead respectful, but if she wanted to adjust his limbs or just touch him in general, he was game for that.
He looked at where she browsing on the shots she'd uploaded onto her MacBook. "How are they looking?" He called, shrugging off the jacket. "Got what you want, or do you need a few more?"

Oh my gosh Tabs is a babe, admittedly there was a time when I wasn’t entirely sure how I felt about her because she reminds me a lot of my sister at times and me and my sister just weren’t getting on but I’m past that and I love how human she is like, she’s flawed but it would be stupid if she wasn’t and she’s strong but in a very human way and gosh I just really love Tabs because she’s such an amazing character but at the same time she’s the kind of girl I could expect to meet in town because she’s just do damn realistic like wow.
