The concept of human Alastor fascinated with pre-fallen/fallen-Lucifer always interests me.

Hard to tell but the sculpture lost Lucifer’s nose, I depicted it as that because yeah.

The devil is whispering in my ears to share the deranged au I just came up with but it's very angsty for Alastor I'm so sorry he can get revenge afterwards

It's one sided radioapple (Alastor isn't loved back) but mutual radiostatic (still tragically misunderstood though we gotta get through angst before they can rekindle)

Lucifer is more like Magne but not obsessed with Alastor for anything other than his Pure Heart as an ingredient in bypassing the Sinners curse of infertility (this means Charlie is you get than she is in canon)

Lucifer played a human white witch Al like a golden fiddle and had him falling in love over the course of a couple of years of careful manipulation and lies, only to then steal his virginity and his heart, and then emotionally devastated him so thoroughly it opened Alastor up to being influenced by the Root of All Evil

Roo loved him the moment her shadows touched him, she wants to keep him, she wants him to come down and be hers, except his soul is bound for heaven, so she whispers into him that if he wants someone who will love him forever and ever and ever unconditionally, he needs to sin, he should follow her instructions to summon one of her followers and then she'll make sure Rosie treats him right

He just doesn't want to be lonely anymore, his chest is so cold where his heart used to be, so he listens and does the summoning carefully, and Rosie helps him grow his own Apple tree

He takes a bite once it produces fruit and his Shadow starts to move

He listens to and obeys Roo's instructions and starts killing those he seems unworthy of the gift of life, meeting new acquaintances but never making any friends

Eventually he dies and wakes up in hell as a peryton, and he and Rosie are real friends and he owns his own soul and he can see and hear what others can't, he is the voice and eyes of his Mistress of Evil, he worships her and revels in the fun of being powerful for once in his existence

Decades after he dies he meets a picture box that charms him, who keeps up with him on the dance floor, who makes his chest feel *warm* for the first time since the Devil stole his Heart

He thinks he can be happy

But Vincent wants more

Vincent played the long game and Alastor was caught off guard, but he refuses to lose

Alastor lashes out and echoes the words that had haunted him since Lucifer revealed "Lucien" to be a lie

Vox hadn't fallen to despair like Alastor had that night, Vox had lashed out and they fought violently, the Strongest Sinner in Hell putting the second in his place

Their separation made Alastor's chest feel colder than even the loss of his Heart did

Lucifer meanwhile had slowly softened up once Charlie was born, a girl with a Pure Heart so bright it bled into even the Devil

He starts to feel guilty for what he did but he can't even recall the witch's name, besides there was nothing he could do to make up for stealing his Heart, no matter how bad Lu feels about it, he'd never undo it

He'd never choose anyone or anything over Charlie

When Alastor eventually sees the hotel on TV he recognizes his old mannerisms in Charlie and realizes what the Devil wanted his Heart for

Originally he went there intending to hurt her like his father hurt him, but after spending a few minutes with her, he changed his mind and decided he wanted to see her dream come true

This is SO ANGSTY - you know what would really dig it home for Lucifer?

Charlie didn't just inherit the pure heart and innocence and goodness, she literally inherited the PURE HEART - and someone tries to do to her what Lucifer did to Alastor, and as he holds her later as she sobs and shakes and feels so betrayed and hurt, he feels guilt and regret for the first time in millenia - and its also around this time he realised he had, actually, loved Alastor, he just hadn't realised it.

Lilith finds out what Lucifer did - to her baby's descendant, a White Witch who couldn't fight back - and leaves.

And when Lucifer goes to his daughters hotel - something about the hotelier is very familiar.

(I want Lucifer to suffer and REGRET and for Charlie to discover how she was born and want to find her - her birth mother who had their heart ripped out and Alastor is there the whole time, watching.)
