oh yo mys means “the act of actively being cozy” in swedish. is that accurate for mys. are they cozy? (also out of curiosity, how do you pronounce their name and how did you come up with it?)

that’s actually so cute!!!!! mys actually IS pretty cozy but like... only for one person tbh!! i pronounce mys like “miss”!! when i first started making mys i didn’t rlly have a name for them OR their supervillain-y counterpart, so i kept it a “mys”tery and decided to just use that. it’s really uncreative because i was super fucking tired but it stuck!! so now mys is their name, and their non-supervillain name is kept secret and it gets kind of confusing

1. which podcast that opens (or opened at some point) with something similar to “this is the audio diary/log of ___” do you like most?wolf 359, it still counts even tho only s1 was in that format right? lol i think the (opened at some point) clause was put specifically in place cuz of wolf 359, which like, fair. cuz honestly, this show is literally one of the best pieces of fiction that i’ve ever had the pleasure of getting into8. do you listen to podcasts and multitask at the same time?yep, honestly it’s a requirement cuz my hands must always be doing something all the damn time cuz i can never focus. honestly that’s why i actually enjoy doing chores and housework cuz it means i get to be productive while listening to podcasts. i also like to draw, but im kinda in an creative slump rn so i just end up random lines and squiggles instead of actual drawings. that said, sometimes, if im really really into a podcast, im able to just lie down and do nothing other than listen to it cuz it can hold my attention okay enough.9. who is your favorite podcast character?my boy adam from tbs. i fucking love him so much! he’s the character i relate to the most and i love seeing how much he’s grown as the show went on. im still dealing with a lot of the same issues that he is and it’s really cathartic seeing him deal with it. i think about him so much. like, i imagine myself in his place, and that im mentally dating caleb cuz im bitter and lonely i love him so much and he’s so type. and that’s why i wrote like 50k+ words worth of fanfic abt them

hmmm okay so I’m gonna doing The Falcon Banner which is this epic sci-fi space opera podcast. It ended literally 10 years ago so I don’t think too many people here have listened to it. This show really surprised me cuz it’s like the oldest Gays in Space™ podcast I’ve listened to. Honestly this show was ahead of its time and I wish it was more popular. shout out to @radiolariia for getting me into this show

So the main ship is Darien Taine, former cop turned tactically brilliant resistance leader but an emotionally really fucking dumb puppy in love, and Matt Elias, aggressively enthusiastic literal ray of sunshine and genius engineer. Some of the stuff here has already happened in canon so like, spoiler warning

Who said “I love you” first:It was Elias cuz he was egged on by a too nosy friend. It ended horribly cuz as I’ve said, Taine has the emotional intelligence of a newborn pup and he was all like “you’re like a brother to me,” cuz he was in denial. It was painfulWho would have the other’s picture as their phone background:Taine def, so that he’d have a reminder of why he’s fighting for a better galaxyWho leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror:Elias cuz he’s really verbal with his affectionWho buys the other cheesy gifts:Taine cuz he has trouble verbalizing his affection so he compensates by treating his boy like a king.Who initiated the first kiss:Elias cuz the dude’s got the guts to actually act on his feelingsWho kisses the other awake in the morning:Taine. Cuz Elias has trouble sleeping and he can only sleep when his boy is around. He doesn’t enjoy the night cuz he can’t sleep so Taine always kisses him good morning so he’ll have something to look forward to when going to sleep.Who starts tickle fights:Elias cuz Taine’s always tense and stressed out and I imagine Elias would do that in order to get him to chill Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower:Elias just walks in without asking cuz he knows he’s hot and makes his dude too gay to function. Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch:Both of them. Honestly it’d probably be a competition of who can cook each other the best lunch between those two.Who was nervous and shy on the first date:Elias cuz he initiated it and he’s putting himself out there, risking his relationship with his closest friend. Tho Taine too cuz he has no idea what’s happening and what he’s supposed to do cuz this is literally the first time he was asked outWho kills/takes out the spiders:Taine. But honestly I don’t think Elias would be scared of spiders. But he’s probably the type to act all scared so his knight in shining armor can come save him and he can swoon in his armsWho loudly proclaims their love when they’re drunk:Taine. Honestly that’s probably the only time he’d open up about loving his dude when they first started dating.
