Agatha had typically kept her distance from humans, but chose to finally approach Nat. By this point, he wasn't a new sight to her.

"Welcome back Nathaniel." She offered a small smile, but kept it brief with the subject of conversation.

"Obviously, I wasn't around when things had gone down, but I've heard. If you're okay talking about it- and it's okay if not- what exactly happened during the tournament? Is there anything I can do for you to make things easier moving forward?"

[Even if things were alright in the moment, it still seemed like a sore subject. Nat didn't leave the 'rai in silence at least.]

I just... got really mad and upset, I think. Things got out of hand afterwards.

I still don't feel great for what happened to Draco as a result, even if she doesn't blame me for it.

[He gave his best smile regardless.]

It means a lot. If I'm being real, being around for Oscar and Luxu helps quite a bit. Seeing them both happy is enough for me.

[Nat's smile is a bit more genuine, the hint of a teasing tone as he continues.]

Oscar shouldn't be too far from here, actually. He'd be wondering where you're at.

[The human pauses as if gathering their thoughts. She keeps her voice leveled enough, but a trained ear could pick out the slightest bit of negativity... could it be annoyance? Anger? Disappointment? It was hard to say.]

I had lent out my research to others in different regions, for the sake of collaboration and having more hands reaching towards the same goal. There was an incident a few years ago, a very violent altercation occurred where a portion of it was lost. If it didn't go up in flames, it was stolen...

Everything can be rebuilt however, and the project has recovered. But now I guard it very closely.

[Alruba's attention turns to the tapestry, a thin smile as a hand reaches out to the old and faded chart with fondness.]

I was born and raised in Meteor Falls, and so much of this knowledge came to me in the forms of bedtime stories. Tales of magnificent beasts that resided in the heavens, gracing this world with their presence and holding influence to this very day.

These stars have been catalogued for generations, at first orally before eventually being written down. After the first Draco Meteor, brilliant fireballs rained down at different points-thunderous roars catapulting from the sky into the planet.

Their locations were scattered, but their impacts were nothing short of spectacular. The dragons were nowhere to be found around their impacts, so it was only to be assumed that they began to explore the world.

Their fall gave rise to the dragons we know today.

Akumu@???Noodle: Ah! Another Rayquaza, descended from the heavens. I must ask... have you also been charged with looking after other legendaries? Or do you have another job?

As for any other duties, I did have to oversee Kyogre and Groudon when they were rampaging some decades ago. They’ve been slumbering since, so I take to guarding the ozone now instead.

I’ve always had a bit of contact with humans, but in the past century or so it’s been a lot more frequent. Out of anyone on this island, I’ve known Oscar the longest due to the connection we have with a certain human family. Nathalie and I are...fairly close, for a multitude of reasons, so I know a great deal about her and the other ‘mons that are a part of her teams.
