hi there so i heard you were good with powersave stuff? idk i just got mine yesterday and 1. i have no idea where to find a liscence key??? 2. i heard there was a way to keep villagers from moving out with a powersave but idk how that works 3. you're awesome (okay not a problem but still) do you know of any way to help? thanks youre the best!

Ahahaha, hi! Okay, firstly, congrats on a Powersave! Very handy. For number one, your powersaves should have come WITH a license key, on a piece of paper/sticker either inside the box or attached to the powersaves itself.

If the license key is MISSING, depending on where you bought it, you have some different options. If you bought it in a store like Gamestop or something, you can take it back and tell them there was no license key and you want a new one. 

If you bought it ONLINE that will probably be more of a hassle, depending on the seller; if it was Amazon or something, returns are fairly easy (minus waiting for the shipping and junk)..... but it if it was something like eBay, you have to contact the seller and try to find out where the license key is / why they failed to include it, and if they fail to produce a license key, you are in full rights to return the product because without the license key it is unusable.

As for keeping villagers from moving out with Powersaves, it’s not so much that Powersaves has a way to keep villagers from moving out (like, there’s no option to say select a villager and check another option that says “never move out” - it doesn’t work that way). What Powersaves does is let you create as many backups as your town as you want, so if you accidentally have someone move out, you can always go back to your old save points and then keep them from moving out / change their mind (kind of like... going back in time and pretending it never happened!).
