There’s a very good reason why this thumbnail doesn’t feature the game at all: I had no idea what they were going to play. I think doing a Valentine’s Day episode was a super last minute idea, and I got the assignment on Feb 13th, so I had to jam this out super quick. I think I was told the game but I really had no time to research. The short window I had to draw this is why you only see one of everyone’s arms, I didn’t have the time to make more complex poses. I doubled down on adorable and I think it came out pretty well. Amanda and Kellz are great, and I was excited to later draw them for the Yoshi’s Island thumbnail.

@yuki-okami and i were talking about a potential sequal/season 2 of Asagao academy and how it would be. We decided it’d be related to Big Bad Bosses and it’d be a battle of the bands based on this lovely line:
So all of the routes would be a continuation of the routes from the first game and there would be a new route, Nate known as NateWantsToBattle. The game would take some time after the game and would be leading up to the giant battle of the band, much like the game tournament. New characters would be Nate of course, and Alex and Kellie from TheNationalDex (of couse none of them gets the normalboots jacket cause they’re not part of the group)

Nate is a pop star coming back from a music tour to finish his last year of school. He’s got the Clark Kent effect going on where when he’s got his glasses on he’s next to not recognizable, but still super attractive like oh my. He rivals Jared in fangirls even with the glasses on. His popstar name is NateWantsToBattle (similar to the Peanut Buttergamer style) He's got an itch for performing though, so when he's back he's got an eye on the battle of the bands because he wants to make a boy band. Now who would join the band?
Alex and Kellie were his old friends before Nate made it big as a popstar and they hadn’t seen him since before the school year began. Kellie is part of Mai’s Volleyball team, while Alex is a good friend of Jirard and just mostly occupies himself with playing Nokemon.
In terms of routes, Nate would be one with the romantic interest and it would revolve around the three and their past friendship (Like the dynamic of the Continue group). Otherwise Kellie would be a wonderful addition to the Mai/Hana dynamic and Alex is still around as Ronik. I don’t really know about Nate, ALex, and Pokekellz so I can’t really go past a basic idea, so i’ll probably watch more of their videos if i ever want to do more than that
