I was rewatching Spell Of The Unown since it randomly appeared on my YT recs, and

Based on the fact that this uses Unown's Japanese name (Unknown), it's written in kinda broken English and we know from the TeraLeak that this is pretty much the writing format in which GameFreak writes the lore of Pokémon in their private documents (question+bullet answers, that's how the teraleaked Zygarde document is also like, for instance), I have a strong suspicion that in this scene, the anime makers actually took this text from one of the Gen2 documents by GameFreak they had access to to draw information for the movie.
