Okay! So I am back, I have a new idea so I can take a break from art for a moment until I get new fakemon ideas: that is, buffing the actual mons that appear. I call this:

The Fixer-Upper!

The Fixer-Upper is a weekly event I’m going to hold, where I let you choose between a select few Pokémon that aren’t exactly, known for being impressive. The aim is to balance every Pokémon out so they all can be used, so don’t expect to see something like Garganacl or Incineroar here! With that said, let’sss fixer up!!

Original Mega Malamar Ability: Contrary

My Idea: Mind Control

Mind Control: Mega Malamar’s Psychic Moves have a 20% chance to inflict Attraction on any pokemon. It’s the closest status effect I could think of, plus My Friend Malamar.

An Explanation on Why I Haven’t Been on My Main Blog In A Long Time

In short, I’ve so far lost my passion to draw fakemon for Pokémon Bleak. This is a blog made for me to draw those fakemon. Hopefully one of these days I’ll get back my passion for this, I need to redo the steel type starter pokemon. If I post something about that guy, you’ll be able to know I’m feeling up for it again, you can find me posting more often in @kananssideblog

Note:

If a pokemon learned a move in a PAST GENERATION and doesn’t learn it in the current generation, don’t fret!

While I’m not perfect and fully aware of what every Pokémon learns or used to learn, I do try and check if they used to learn some moves I think of adding, or if they actually know it.

You can be guaranteed that if it used to know it, outside of SOME cases (Scald, Toxic) that mon will have the move back guaranteed since it used to learn it.

(Frisk Buff: Reveals and disables the opponent’s held item. Disables the item for 5 turns, swapping out ends the item disable early).

Notes:

For Dusknoir, its main issue was not having much HP. I wanted to give it some more to make it like a different, potential sidegrade or upgrade to Dusclops. You could arguably take out the setup moves and give to more utility from what I added. I was going to add embargo, but apparently it can learn that in past generations.
