Bonnie joined them sometimes too if Meyer is busy working
If Clemont wasn’t needed in the room they would play in the yard (wherever it is that the gym leaders, elite 4 and Diantha meet up for meetings definitely have a yard) and had mock pokemon battle
They managed to drag Garchomp with them too because Clemont may be a gym leader and Korrina was training to be one they’re still children
Alain taught them how to cook. He learned from Sophie (Sycamore can NOT cook), and Clemont was REALLY good at it that he became better than Alain (Korrina can manage a decent meal, not the best but definitely better than some). Bonnie was not allowed near the stove or knives but she can tell what is good with what and if something has gone bad or not
In return Korrina taught them how to rollerskate. Alain got the hang of it pretty quick and has great balance while Clemont kept falling because he’s too nervous. Bonnie was surprisingly good at it and to this day she still teases Clemont about it
Clemont tried to taught them about machinery but they weren’t allowed to anymore because it’s a fire hazard after something blew up and set one of the trees in the yard caught on fire. Bonnie still make fun of him about it whenever his inventions blow up to this day
Bonnie taught them origami ! Alain and Clemont’s were great because they have steady hands and they’re used to handling things with care. Korrina’s were abit wonky and you can see there’s some faulty crease line she made and didn’t smooth out completely but they look like the things they’re supposed to be so she called it good enough !
While their trainers were doing their things, if they weren’t having a mock battle Charmander, Riolu and Magnemite would run around on their own. A staff almost called pokemon control on them once until those their trainers stop them and have to explain that those are their pokemons
Alain used his pokemon assistant (and son) privileges to ask Sycamore for pokemons sometimes and he’d bring them with him so they can play games that require more players like hide and seek or tags or charade (they used to try to play telephone too but they couldn’t because none of them can understand pokemons besides their own)
Korrina told them story about mega evolution she learned from her grandfather because she knew they’d interested
Since Clemont and Bonnie were the only ones who went to school (Alain and Korrina were homeschooled) they would tell the other two about how it’s like
They were the ones who encouraged Alain to go on his own pokemon adventure instead of just being a lab assistant (how they regret that now)
They have tea parties (courtesy of Bonnie) :3 The staff started to prepare tea and cookies in advance for them
Of course they also brought boardgames ! Though they rarely play the actual games, they still had fun making up their own rules
They tried painting once. Never again. They painted a tree trunk for funsies and three years later it’s still there. They didn’t even know paint could last that long !
Even though they can cook, none of them can bake. They tried to learn in the building’s kitchen, but they were also banned from that after the oven caused on fire and the pokepuff gave Riolu, the only one brave enough to try them, food poisoning. Atleast they’re still allowed to cook !
Alain being there was how Malva kept an eye on him. She reported back to Lysandre about his connection to Sycamore and how he’s researching Mega Evolution, which is how Lysandre knew to recruited him
