Interview 1: Psychosis (Part 5-5)
(Contains spoilers for the pokepasta Pokemon Frostbite)
(Typhlosion spits out a powerful stream of fire from his mouth, but the Wendighoul dodges.)
{A freezing aura envelops the air... The opposing Wendighoul's stats rose dramatically!}
Ethan: Typhlosion! Flamethrower!
Dawn: Empoleon! Use Surf!
(Empoleon charges at the Wendighoul while cloaked in a wave of water. The Wendighoul dodges out of the way, before slashing at Empoleon's right wing with a Night Slash, creating a wound on it. Empoleon counterattacks by using Hydro Pump, just barely managing to hit the Wendighoul. Lost's Celebi uses Psychic on it while it is down, but the Wendighoul avoids it, then uses Shadow Sneak to attack Celebi, who barely dodges it, receiving a scratch.)
Dawn: Damn, it's pretty fast!
Ethan: We have to find a way to make it vulnerable! Typhlosion, Eruption!
Silver: Feraligatr! Use Crunch!
(Ethan's Typhlosion creates a massive explosion, launching fiery projectiles everywhere, while Silver's Feraligatr goes in for a powerful bite. The Wendighoul dodges the projectiles, but isn't able to dodge the bite. Feraligatr bites on to the Wendighoul's left antler, and after thrashing and slamming it on the ground, he crunches harder, breaking the antler, and dealing massive damage.)
Silver: So it's a Ghost-Type... Makes sense, really.
Crys: It's vulnerable! Megaree, Leaf Storm!
(Megaree produces a tornado of leaves, which does not deal much damage, followed by an Iron Tail, which deals quite a bit. The Wendighoul, recovering, realizes its antler was destroyed, and becomes enraged. It tries to attack with a Night Slash, but then Celebi uses an Energy Ball on the Wendighoul's head, causing it to shift its attention towards her. With its attention on the Grass/Psychic-Type, the Wendighoul doesn't have time to avoid a Fire Punch from Ethan's Typhlosion. The punch breaks its right antler, and the Wendighoul becomes stunned.)
Ethan: Alright everyone! Give it your all!
(Typhlosion uses another Flamethrower, this time it hits its mark. Dawn's Empoleon uses Wave Crash on the Wendighoul, while Silver's Feraligatr uses another Crunch, followed by Megaree and Celebi attacking at the same time, with Giga Drain and Psychic respectively. But the Wendighoul recovers, and after realizing both its antlers are broken, it unleashes a massive Blizzard. Knocking back all the Pokémon and their trainers.)
Ethan: Ugh...!
(As Ethan recovers, he sees the Wendighoul holding his unconscious Typhlosion by the throat, ready to slit it with a Night Slash.)
Ethan: NO!
(Ethan uses Typhlosion's Pokéball to bring him back before the Wendighoul can do any further harm. But now, the Wendighoul is rapidly approaching, ready to either possess or kill him. But then... Something grabs the Wendighoul and slams it on the ground again. It's a ghostly Ambipom.)
Ethan: What the- What is that?
Silver: Wait... That's Aibo! Gold's Ambipom!
(Suddenly even more ghostly Pokémon, and even some ghostly people start to materialize around the Wendighoul.)
Dawn: A-are these...?
Silver: The other victims...
(The victims attack the Wendighoul, holding him down, and restraining him. One of the victims, Black, even elbows it in the snout.)
Silver: They're holding it down! Now's our chance!
(Ethan and the others all heal their Pokémon, before each of them attacks the Wendighoul in succession. First Megaree with a Giga Drain, then Feraligatr with an Aqua Tail, then Empoleon with Wave Crash, then Celebi with Psychic, and finally, Typhlosion with a barrage of Fire Punches. The Wendighoul is launched at the wall, then falls to the ground. It tries to move again, but faints. Ethan reaches for his pocket, and pulls out a Pokéball.)
Dawn: Uh... Ethan? What are you doing?
Ethan: I'm going to catch this thing!
Everyone but Ethan: WHAAAT?!
(Ethan threw the Pokéball at the Wendighoul.)
{1...}
{2...}
{3...}
{Gotcha! Wendighoul was caught!}
Dawn: Ethan... Why did you catch it?! Don't you know how dangerous this thing is?!
Ethan: That's exactly why i caught it. I'm going to ask the Orderly to put this Pokéball somewhere safe, where it can never escape.
Lost: Are you sure that's a good idea...?
(Before Ethan can answer, Feral starts to wake up.)
Feral: Ugh... Ow... My head...
Silver: Gold!
(The ghosts all come to Feral's aid. His eye is no longer bloodshot.)
Ethan: I'm going now, but i'll be back in a minute. Call the Chanseys to take care of him while i'm out.
(Ethan walks away with the Pokéball containing the Wendighoul. Dawn and Lost watch, but then call the Chanseys to help Feral.)
