It's happening again! This year's Umbra Plays Pokemon will be Umbra Plays Pokemon LeafGreen  because 1. no new mainline Pokemon this year 2. it got re-released on Switch 3. I never actually beat either FireRed or LeafGreen. See you for it Soon!

So there was no brand new mainline Pokemon game this year. We got Pokopia but that was a spinoff and while it was a lot of fun it's not my main wheelhouse Pokemon-wise. However! I still have a plan for Umbra Plays. Because while there was no NEW mainline Pokemon this year an old one returned to us... One which I have regrettably beaten neither version of... But now I can right that wrong.

I started playing Pokemon again (Leaf Green) and I've gotten the farthest I ever have in this one (6 whole badges...)

Anyways i keep having to look up like "can i really catch the legendary bird guys?? Like REALLY??" dude wdym its all random chance and ypu just have to waist bullshit on it for like 80 hours?? Hey! What if the legendary pokemon battles were like, actually difficult and required strategy instead of just making the player want to tear their skin off? Hot take ik... wanting to play & enjoy the game that i got to play & enjoy.... how rude.....
