Pokemood:
Pokemon players may experience this. I have noticed that when I talk about Pokemon to my friends, some of them reply "I haven't played it for ages, I'm just not in the mood". It has happened to a few of my friends, at different times of the year. So I decided to do a bit of research on what might cause this mood change. When you play your first Pokemon game in your life, a person can generally determine when their Pokemood will kick in. I am going to take myself as an example. My very first Pokemon game was Christmas day, 2003. I can never forget that day. The game I got was Pokemon Sapphire. It is my favourite game of all time! Then it's Pokemon Heart Gold. But the best game ever is Pokemon Heart Gold. I have caught all 386 Pokemon on Sapphire. I only HAD to cheat to get these 4 Pokemon: Ho-oh, Mew, Celebi, Jirachi. There is no other way to get them. No one believes me when I say that I caught them all because they think it's impossible. But I am proud to say that I did catch 'em all! Anyway, that's not the point. The key factor here is WHEN I started playing Pokemon. My peak time for playing Pokemon is around December - late February. I constantly play Pokemon, you cannot get me off it. After that, my peak goes away and can take a break from it here and there. It starts from about early March - August. Then when August begins, my passion for Pokemon starts to fade. I tend to not play as much as I used to. I might play it here or there but that's about it. Then all of a sudden, it just completely goes away. Pokemon becomes the last thing on my priority list. This is Pokemood. My Pokemood generally starts in between early August - late November. After that period of time, I start to get the Pokemon mood back. Then the cycle starts again. Obviously my friends started playing Pokemon at different times than me. Now, as much as I love Pokemon, I can say that I have a Pokemood. I'm sure Pokemon players out there will probably be thinking to themselves 'No, I don't have a Pokemood because I love Pokemon'. There is no shame in admitting that you have one. I'm sure everyone does. I love Pokemon but I can still admit that I have a Pokemood.
Pokemood: The period of time where your passion for Pokemon temporarily goes away. A person can generally tell when it will start according to what time that person first started playing Pokemon.
