Slipped & fell twice-but got it in one take!

Sylvester by Richard Serra & Compression Line by Michael Heizer, at Glenstone.
Last Halloween, it was 40 degrees, and nothing turned out because my SX-70 film got too cold. This year, it was 72, which amused me more than the trick-or-treating—I spent most of the night thinking about it before and after I pulled out my camera. The spookiest thing this Halloween wasn’t the costumes; it was the reminder of climate change and wondering how long until the next record-breaking storm. One thing I did enjoy, though, was the person in the photo acting as a ghost pirate, stuck in one spot in the neighborhood, marching around with a routine. It was weird but refreshing.
