“PHILLIP. I AM IN DIRE NEED OF AFFECTION, COULD YOU PROVIDE SOME?”
I don’t see why not.
“I FOUND YOU. DID YOU THINK I COULDN’T SEE YOUR FOOTPRINTS IN MY HOSPITAL Y- HOLD ON. WHO ARE YOU? AND WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE ME?”
“Wh.... Why do I look like you?? Why do you look like me but more....” He pauses to indicate to the other Herman a couple of times while he tries to think of the right word to use. “....More... This.”
@polishedelectrode
Herman was tall for his age, standing at a solid 3’4” when he was six. He did not have many friends, but he did know this one girl. He thought she looked nice and was very smart. She knew all the things about plants and such. Having spotted her in the park near their houses, he made his way over. He hadn’t started shouting until he had been taken by the entity later in life.
“Claud? What are those thingies?” Herman pointed to the patch of unusually shaped flowers in the grass.
Claudette followed his finger, looking to the spot he was pointing. Her face lit up when she realised he was asking about her brightly coloured flowers.
“Monarda!” she exclaimed, “beak birds like those!”
She had a habit of calling hummingbirds ‘beak birds’, something her mother would giggle about and correct. She looked back to the taller boy, eyes lit up excitedly. She was sitting cross legged in front of her make-shift garden. Her science kit beside her.
Her backyard sadly didn’t have room for her plants, so her parents suggested using the park (as long as she was respectful and safe). Normally she’d be ‘studying’ on her own, but she did take note of a few of the other kids. She liked the tall boy, Herman! That was his name, she didn’t know much about him.
((Do you think Phil is able to carry Herman’s love for him? In the fanny pack? I hope so because it’s a lot!))
I don’t know, can /you/-carry phil’s big crush on herman in that tiny pocket thing you’ve got on your belt?
DO YOU STILL LIKE ME? YOU’RE ALWAYS SO MEAN TO ME AND I JUST WANT TO LOVE YOU AND I- I- *sniffle* :(
Was he honestly about to cry, or was this some sort of cunning move to pull at his heartstrings? It doesn’t matter; Philip is not so cruel to leave a man sniffling like that. Not Herman, at least.
Of course I like you, he signs with a long gurgle, I just... don’t react too well to situations I’ve never experienced before... Apologies if I came off as too harsh.
He, tentatively, extends both hands to fix his red tie -- a gesture offered as a way to apologize. The knot was that bit loose, after all.

Claudette took the thermometer from the man’s mouth, seeing the 39°C. Yes, he certainly had a fever. It was the season after all, even if the snow seemed to have melted; the shift in temperature could certainly have caused it. Either way, she placed a damp towel over his forehead and gently patted his chest.
“You’re gonna have to rest for a bit, I’ll bring you soup soon, okay?”
“PHILLIP. HOW DO WE PLAY THIS BIZARRE GAME I HAVE BEEN HEARING ABOUT. WHY DO WE BITE A STICK?”
You are asking the wrong person, Herman, because I have no idea.
He just shoves one of said ‘sticks’ between the doctor’s teeth, and promptly ingurgitates another two.
They taste rather good, though.

9. What fandoms are you in?Other than this one, none really. I do enjoy lurking in the Undertale and Overwatch fandoms, however. I also used to lurk in the Inuyasha, Yu-Gi-Oh, Hetalia, and Ouran HSHC fandoms. This is the first time I’ve actively participated in a fandom though!
