i started consuming a lot of content from disabled people on youtube. i got recommended one video from para tara (a paraplegic woman) and fell down a rabbithole for weeks now. and its so interesting to listen to their stories and their experiences. and they inspire me a lot when it comes to my drabbles and stories. but im worried that me as a non disabled person writing these drabbles of physically disabled people is disrespectful? i know i have some disabled followers and the disabled people i talked to have been largely incredibly supportive of me doing this because they like to see themselves represented. but i'd still like to ask if its okay.
is it disrespectful to write drabbles and stories inspired by real disabled people's experiences?
yes and please stop
no keep writing them
(if anyone's interested, the channels ive been binge watching are para tara, sarah todd hammer, makayla noble, littletraumamama, eirin cecilie gjedrem, and most recently molly burke)
guys im gonna be so real the scene that made me start the entire hero (story) and the scene i fell asleep to that day did NOT make the final cut. neither did another scene i rotated obsessively in my mind.
do you want to see those two scenes and possibly more if they come up as non canon extras
yes the more the merrier
no if its not canon i dont care
if i did another cyoa, what would you be more interested in?

help me pick a name for a caretaker?
savannah rose
zoe rae
mary jo
lila jane
kimber rose
ellie mae
(the top choice from this may or may not end up as caretaker's name. it's either the top choice from this or margaret mary. i have my reasons...)
so i. started this blog and fully tried to commit to numbering my drabbles so people and i would have an easy way to refer back to them. but the thing is, numbered drabbles go in the queue... and the queue is so long... so what started to happen is whenever i'd write a drabble i was really proud of and wanted to share Immediately i would just share it unnumbered and out of queue. i would also write them directly in tumblr drafts and not a doc where i could save them. so now i have probably at least a hundred unnumbered drabbles on my blog that arent backed up anywhere. and i made the choice to back them up because, again, theyre the drabbles im honestly most proud of. itll be..... an ordeal. but im determined. anyway im just sharing all this to ask
would you like me to share at the end how many words of unsaved drabbles i had on my blog
yes im curious
no its honestly not interesting
