So, I just wanted to share a really cool product with my fellow painters. Gamblin has this Reclaimed Earth collection- it’s made by removing toxic sludge from the Mississippi and Ohio rivers and using the iron waste to create pigments, which is then made into really lovely, buttery oil paint. I’ve been a fan of Gamblin for a long time now, because of the excellent quality of their paints, and I just really love and respect them for their environmental conservation efforts. These natural earth tones are the perfect base for skin tones, and they’re also wonderful for creating underpaintings for glazing techniques. Pigment belongs in art, not in landfills. Can’t recommend this product enough. 🌈💚🎨 #sarahrileyart #gamblin #reclaimedcolors #pollutiontopaint #artistsforenvironment #sustainableart #gamblinoilcolors #oilpainting #oilpainter #wiartist https://www.instagram.com/p/CSzwKPdFEmu/?utm_medium=tumblr
