despite being lower in the hierarchy of Astrals, Gemini passively emits significantly more Stardust then any other Astral or Pseudo-Astral. Stardust is known to cause serious health complications if inhaled in large amounts by any non-astral (it can be harmful for even beings of metal too, as it can sneak its way into any cracks and cause jams.) When the Twins separate, expelled Stardust levels are much lower and usually do not require any precautions as long as contact is not terribly prolonged

this took waayyy longer to finish drawing then what i wanted because i, admittedly, kept going "god they're so beautiful ☹" and nearly started crying several times . i am no better then that little blue bastard

I like to believe that there’s this deep admiration and respect Eclipse feels towards Gemini.

He trust them enough that they can take care of Lunar, if in danger

But his new motherly instincts won’t let him leave without paranoia. With the fear that the creator will somehow get to Lunar, or that Gemini will treat him horribly.

Like when they’re honest with Lunar or are being strict with him, he will go into protective and maybe even Karen mother mode, much to everyone’s dismay. Gemini may be a bit worried that Lunar will get spoiled with the baby treatment, but lunar promises he won’t.

Eclipse is respectful enough to let them date, but too paranoid to leave them fully alone. So watching from afar, literally or magically is what he shall be doing.
