It just came natural to you, taking care of those around you. You always carried extra snacks, maybe band-aids, a water bottle- basically a care package in your bag. For you it was always a nuisance if you couldn’t fix tiny issues when you were on the go, and to an extent you were always ready to help those around you if they needed it.
Another thing you got going for you was your memory- often you would remember small things told to you in passing. Appointments, supplies someone needed, deadlines, you wouldn’t shy away from casually reminding people of them especially when the life you’re leading could quickly become hectic. Through your caring nature you also quickly befriended Magnus, Alex and the rest of the perthro family.
Of course, whenever Magnus was around nobody would really need patching up from you. Magnus was after all a walking health potion. But other times, if someone got only the slightest of scratches, you would have a plaster ready. And if there were tougher times, you would always prepare some form of comfort food for those who need it. Magnus came to you more often than Alex to talk about his feelings, the way he sometimes felt he still needed to deal with the grief of losing his mother- or the sudden changes happening all around. Alex specifically had a hard time sharing her feelings, she wasn’t used to being openly received and it might have taken a little more prying and patience before she willingly shared her troubles with you. But with enough kindness and care she came to understand you were a safe space- Magnus too, and if she needed it you would be there to listen.
There was another perk to being your lover that Magnus and Alex found. Somehow, unconsciously, you had made your room and bed the coziest place in the entirety of the nine realms. Just laying on your bed could relax either of them instantly. Whether it was because of the blankets you had, or the scent, or maybe that fact that it meant you were also in your room, they didn’t know.
If she hadn’t seen you for a while, Alex was always a little taken back by the fact that you tended to have a little gift for her. It was just something small, but meaningful and a silent way of knowing that you thought of her while you weren’t together. And in a sense she could relate, if you haven’t talked in a few days and she starts throwing pots she sometimes surprises herself with making something that she just knows you would like. There is a certain shape of mug you prefer that always comes out if she misses you. The pottery reminded her of you, and it often led to her shooting you a message.
Magnus on the other hand doesn’t fully know how to deal with the presents. He’s in a stage where he thinks receiving a present means you expect something back from him, and when you never ask he’s just left confused.He treasures the little gifts, and often appreciates it even more if it’s something he forgot he wanted, but he tends to wait for you to ask something of him, and if it doesn’t happen he tries to figure out how to pay you back. The first few times he got a gift from you he actively freaked because he thought he had missed an important date- but that wasn’t it.
At some point he voiced his concerns to Alex, who simply said, “(Y/n) simply thought of you when they saw this and got it, that’s not hard to understand, is it?” smiling a little mockingly at him. Maybe it wasn’t, but Magnus was thinking of you all the time and if he were to get something for you each time you would need a storage unit for the amount of gifts. So instead, the next time you brought him something he simply asked.
“What do you want in return? I really want to give you something but-” he got interrupted by your laugh.
“Alex said you would ask,” you tapped your chin, feigning a thoughtful expression, “How about a kiss?” that was easy to deliver, and left Magnus more flustered than you.
And then there was the way you helped around the Chase place after it was founded. Alex had warned Magnus beforehand that you might never leave the place if they let you. There were so many teens and other homeless that needed help, a pick-me-up, or had clothes that needed mending that you could help around for days on end and never catch a break. For someone who loved giving self care reminders, you seemed all too set on disregarding your own health. Which is where your lovers had to come in.
“(Y/n), when’s the last time you ate?” Alex hummed, not so sneakingly slipping behind you and holding you, his face next to your ear. You could feel his breath on your neck, as you kept sewing the glove you were holding. You stayed silent, thinking the question over.
“I haven’t had lunch yet, but it’s not that late, is it?” you answered, pausing a moment as Alex hummed.
“That’s not the point, nor the mindset you should have,” Alex pressed a kiss on your neck, “Good thing Magnus is almost here with lunch for us. Then it’s time for a break.”
As Magnus arrived you moved away from your little sewing project, in favor of giving your lovers all the attention you had. This seemed to please them both immensely, and you felt your cheeks get warm from the amount of attention they were giving you. If anything, you really appreciated that they looked out for you, by bringing you lunch.
“Who’s the gloves for anyways?” Magnus asked as he stared at what had kept you busy before.
“Oh, I don’t know. They were left here a few days ago and could clearly use a fix,” you shrugged, “maybe the owner comes back, and if not someone else can use them. It’s getting colder after all.”
“You should’ve just thrown them away,” Alex said, “You got enough other things you’re doing, a pair of abandoned gloves should be the least of your worries,”
“In this day and age,” you playfully glared at Alex, “a pair of gloves is very important, imagine all the cold fingies people have.” Alex laughed, and didn’t press any further. Because that’s what he loved about you- always taking care of those around you, even if you don’t know who they are. Magnus smiled too, shaking his head.
“Will you at least take the rest of the day off? We could go on a date or something,” Magnus offered. He had realized how much he missed you when last night he had gotten your favorite snack instead of his own when he was feeling peckish.
“Of course!” then you hesitated, “I mean, what if-”
“Nope, no thinking,” Alex stood up, and grabbed your hand, “We’re leaving now.” Magnus quickly joined, grabbing your other hand and guiding you out of the Chase place.
Fierrochase? In this economy? It’s more likely than you think.

Okay, so first of all, a lot of banter. Naturally Magnus and Alex have to fight (and die) a lot in Hotel Valhalla. These fights often get carried over to the rest of the day.
I am not saying that they are always aggressive - it could also just be one of them ‘stealing’ you for the day and the other having to find you. You, at first, just thought it was one of your SO’s wanting to have a date and some one on one time (not unheard of in a poly relationship), until Alex stormed in angry at her boyfriend for taking up all your time. You put two and two together, only to laugh.
As revenge to Magnus, Alex took you away that day and taught you how to work with clay.
Other things that are included in your relationship are your SO’s always trying to protect you when there is a fight (and you sometimes needing to protect them instead). Call it instinct, but they care too much about you to let you get hurt.
If you get hurt Magnus will be next to you in less than a second and have healed you.
On better days, (read no one killed anyone that morning) you get both of them at your side. You're most often put in the middle, although Alex often grabs both of you guys’ hands to drag you somewhere. Magnus is contend with wherever he gets put, although on his bad days he would like to be in the middle more.
Next up, the Chase Place. Being in a relationship with these two does require you to put your time into this safe haven for homeless kids. You can bet that if you aren’t willing to help them, they aren’t willing to date you. Being homeless was for both a big part of their lives and they want to help those that they can help.
This also means that if children dare to get too cocky, or too close to you, Magnus and Alex will shut them up fast. This is either by kissing you, taking over, or taking you away.
Affectionate wise it is really up to what you are comfortable with. They will understand if you have set boundaries, and they will tread lightly until they find the right balance.
It’s the same the other way around. Especially in the beginning, Alex won’t like it if you initiate contact. This mostly because of his experiences with his old home. Sure Alex opens up slowly and shows affection towards you both, receiving is just difficult.
When the rhythm and boundary is set, there is some love to go around, although more in a ‘married couple kind of way. Banter that ends with ‘I love you’s’, kisses when you do stuff for each other, etc.
The kisses done the most are short on the lips pecks. If not the lips, it’ll be the cheeks. If you kiss Alex on his nose he will make a disgusted face though so beware. When Magnus found out he made it his job to kiss Alex on the nose whenever he won’t expect it.
Moving on from this topic - dates are weird. ‘Normal’ dates like the movies or cafes just feel off. On a date between you it will more likely be hiking or camping, seeing weird places, surviving in general. That’s if you go out with your date.
If you stay at home you could watch a movie, talk, bathe in each other's presence. Perhaps you’ll sit on the balcony of the Chase Place and count stars, cuddle up to your lovers. It’s where no one (except for the gods) can see or hurt you, a safe place for the three of you.

You met Magnus in the streets of Boston. You were both homeless and decided to stick around with each other, to stay as safe as possible. Via Magnus you met Hearth and Blitzen, both now good friends of yours. Everything felt like it was going well, that was, until Magnus died.
You saw his body at the funeral, you met his cousin. It wasn’t great, and you couldn’t believe people were saying it was just an explosion. You saw the bridge, the fire, the fight, and you were sure something weird was going on. Was it the government covering something up? Or were you actually going crazy?
You figured it was the latter one, probably. Until on a fateful day Magnus rescued you from wolves. On this day you also found out that the ring you got from your grandparents was a sword, and apparently that you were not fully human. Oh well, what’s new, really?
In the meantime, you met Alex. She was just as crazy as you, and although you both did not want to become friends, you kept seeing each other around. One day you told him the story of how you saw Magnus die, and he told you that you were not crazy. Alex said she was a child of Loki; her mother was Loki. That is the most you got to know about her past, before she died.
You really should stop making friends, but you figured if Magnus was still undead somewhere (he rarely visited you), Alex would be at the same place. Lo and behold, you found them together, apparently on a quest. You were not going to lose them, and you wanted answers. Stubbornly you followed them to the impossible and came back, wiser, and more confused.
This was all fine.
Moving on, Alex kissed you both in the cold snow, you stopped Ragnarök again (this time you were invited along for the journey), and the three of you started the ‘Chase place’. A place for the homeless to get safety, no questions asked. And it worked great, however with only three of you running the place (sometimes your other friends helped, but they had lives too) it could get a bit hectic. Especially when your undead lovers had undead business and you were on your own. Luckily for you, someone saw your struggle.
‘Hey, uh, you need help?’ a warm voice asked you, ‘You seem to be handling a lot on your own today?’ You turned around to see a boy around your height. He had curly hair and freckles on his face. You blinked twice as you looked at him, gauging whether you could trust him or not. He seemed familiar, but why?
‘Uh- I’ll be fine. Thank you,’ You said, rather having a bit more stress over having to trust some rando.
‘It’s- uh,’ a small blush formed on the boys face, ‘I could prepare some meals? I know how to cook,’ he bashfully shrugged, ‘Normally one of the other two do that I noticed? It’s not the first time I’m here and I could, I don’t know now,’ he put his hand behind his neck, ‘repay you, in some way?’
Okay, this boy? You could trust him. You now remembered how he took care of some of the younger kids sometimes, and he often told stories to them. You slowly nodded, having made up your mind.
‘I see, uh, it would be nice really,’ you let out a tired laugh, ‘Perhaps I could get your name?’ He smiled, lighting up at hearing your approval.
‘It’s Wallace but call me Wally!’
During the rest of the day Wally helped you around. He was a great person to be around, and as the night neared you both were lost in conversation. So lost, that neither noticed the two Einherjars coming into the room.
Alex squinted her eyes at the two of you, as she stopped Magnus in his tracks. You seemed to have fun with this person that she did not know, and she did not trust it. She felt anger seeping into her mind as whatever-his-name-is moved even closer to you. They were gone for one day, and someone had already latched onto you? She wondered if it was that curly haired brat who always stares at you during dinner – she would cut his throat with her garrotes once and for all.
Magnus looked at his girlfriend’s face and then at you and realized what was going on. He smiled to himself, knowing full well that Alex did not want to lose you to anyone. But he also knew that you would not be happy if Alex attacked your new friend. He was about to reach for Alex’s hand, hoping to calm down his girlfriend, when she took a deep breath and walked into the room. Oh no.
‘Hello, my wonderful, ever so beautiful significant other, (Y/n),’ Alex dramatically said, taking a deep bow, then she shot a nasty glare at your friend, ‘… and company.’ You quizzically looked between your girlfriend and Wally, wondering what you had missed. Well, except for the arrival of your lovers, that is.
‘Significant other…?’ you heard Wally mumble under his breath, ‘I thought you dated only the other one?’ he said a bit louder looking at Magnus, who came up from behind Alex. Alex shot him a venomous smile.
‘Oh, dear. You didn’t know we were dating (Y/n)?’ she said moving forward and putting her hand on your shoulder. You looked back to Wally, really hoping he did not just help you to hit on you. That would mean his death, most likely. You felt Magnus also put a hand on your shoulder, trying to be as intimidating as Alex, and probably failing.
‘We? You three are dating?’ Wally looked at you in shock, and you nodded, ‘Really? You guys-’
‘I would stop there and leave, Wally.’ You said calmly. He looked between you and your lovers, took a deep breath, and walked out. You let out a sigh, as you quickly grabbed the wrists of your lovers, as to stop them from going after the poor boy, knowing full well they would.
‘Look who finally decided to show up,’ you said as you stood up, ‘after a full day, without getting me some help.’ You accusingly turned around and crossed your arms. Magnus pursed his lips as Alex looked you over.
‘You seem tired.’ She stated, which was about enough to make you break down. You let out a deep breath and rubbed your eyes.
‘I am, but someone had to run this place. I was lucky Wally, who you just sent away, helped me.’ You felt the tenseness in your shoulders.
‘He helped you?’ Magnus asked and you nodded.
‘Just with dinner and helping the youngest.’ You elaborated as you looked to the side.
‘That doesn’t matter. We will take care of you now.’ Alex said roughly.
‘I know you will, you always do,’ You smiled tiredly as you stepped forward and kissed your girlfriend and your boyfriend. ‘I love you two, but I need sleep now.’
Alex and Magnus both nodded.
‘For once we all agree, I guess.’ Alex said as she grabbed your hand to lead you to your room. You smiled. This was nice, just you, your girlfriend, and her boyfriend. It was all fine.

Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?
Both Alex and Magnus love being outside and more specifically hiking. Besides that - being in Valhalla means about 24/7 training for them so they enjoy moving around. Outside of Valhalla you all help out in the Chase place, this is where the most ‘peaceful’ moments happen.
Beauty - What do they admire in their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?
Character is really all that matters here. Neither care for what you look like, what you present yourself as, they only care for who you are on the inside, as cheesy as that sounds. But they both spend time on the streets, and they know that appearances are deceiving.
Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?
Magnus wouldn’t know what to do, will lowkey freak out and get Alex. Alex is the bad feelings expert and knows exactly your do’s and dont’s. If you like to be touched or not, what you want to hear, if you want a snack or not. Alex made sure that after the first time she helped you she never forgot and is always ready to comfort you.
Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?
Heh, good one. Probably dream of ending in Ragnarok together or something really. Does it matter? No, they have all the time in the world. Perhaps they’ll think of dates as dreams, like going hiking in every one of the nine realms.
Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?
Alex is the most dominant in the relationship no doubt. It’s not that Magnus and you are pushovers, it’s just that she knows what she wants and she gets it done. Magnus is stubborn and does stand his ground when needed, but he has less goals for your relationship.
Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?
These two wouldn’t be the easiest in fights. Often they take out anger in battles in Valhalla, but that doesn’t solve a whole lot. This also means that fights go hard and do get aggressive a lot. Magnus may apologize fast, but Alex will hold a grudge, not talk to anyone, and then eventually come back. Although at that point you still need to make it alright with her.
Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?
Magnus would pick up on the little things you do and thank you every single time. He has had Blitzen and Hearthstone to take care of him on the streets and he knows when people take care of him. Alex wouldn’t be able to thank you until it’s jus the two of you and it’ll be a quick thank you at that but you know she means it.
Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?
Important secrets are never held except when it’s to protect one another or to keep them from worrying. Secondly, these two do not have the greatest time sharing personal information - whether you see that as keeping secrets or not is up to you.
Inspiration - Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?
Magnus gets more confidence, eventually. He learns how to be himself and that’s great. Alex wouldn’t change even if the whole world would need her to, so she stays the same. She might get more trusting with you two over time, but that’s a process.
Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?
They both get jealous rather easily, but Magnus will just bottle it up and try to ignore it, while Alex will lash out on whoever is keeping you, no matter who it is. Magnus tries to calm her down sometimes, but that doesn’t always go right and has resulted in his death more than once (that is, if they’re in the hotel). If they’re outside the result is intimidating whoever and pulling you away from them.
Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?
The first kiss was in the cold snow, you all were freezing and Alex took the lead. It was subsequent with the confession, as you may notice. Alex is not a shy kisser if anything, where Magnus is clumsy she picks it up. Magnus isn’t used to kissing, but he is learning as we go.
Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?
Well, you know, as happened in Ship of the Dead. Alex would kiss both you and Magnus in the cold, and then proceed to ignore that happening while you all beat Loki’s ass. You wouldn’t be an addition to them later on, you would always have been there.
Memory - What’s their favourite memory together?
Playing IRL among us in the hotel. It was a hassle to set up - and depeding on whether you are an Einherjar or not, they had to find ways to not actually kill you. Everyone else would be fair game, I mean they would be back eventually anyways. You and Alex were the imposters, and Magnus was the first kill, which he did not enjoy. You didn’t win, because Halfborn ‘accidentally’ killed Alex and got caught.
Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?
Alex will insult you, but in the most affectionate ways possible. Magnus never understood nicknames really, will probably find a singular word and use that to refer to you some days. It’s probably something like Socks, because you kept losing yours. If you try to give Alex a nickname she will not appreciate it, Magnus might blush but only a bit.
On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?
It is not noticeable that Alex is in love. She will still be her witty, unapologetic self not matter how in love she is. Magnus however is too obvious, with long stares, getting lost in thought and often talking about you two. Alex might be a bit softer sometimes, and show a calm side around you and Magnus, but was it love or just her actually caring? Don’t ask, she might smite you.
PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?
Magnus is simply soft, and likes to hold hands. Alex does not. If anything, she insults Magnus and you in front of others more than brag about you, but when someone tries to insult you she just goes ‘That’s my job!’. Do expect sudden kisses at random times from her, when you least expect it, because sometimes she just can’t help it.
Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.
Travelling through the nine worlds together is a wonderful past time and makes the perfect opportunities for dates. You guys go about everywhere, and are back in time for dinner. Exploring the infinite possibilities is beautiful, although dangerous. But Alex and Magnus don’t mind protecting you if it comes to it.
Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?
Magnus is more of a cliché romantic in the way that he tries to plan certain romantic things to happen. He will pick a trail that leads to a good sight, whereas Alex would pick a trail that’s just about the length of it. Alex doesn’t care for all the romance stuff involved, so she won’t go out of her way to be romantic.
Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?
They would help in every way they could, but it’s important for them that you can hold your own too. If you ask for help Alex will agree reluctantly, and Magnus will agree, but neither would offer out of nowhere to just help you with something. You need to ask them, because otherwise they’ll assume you’re handling yourself.
Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice up your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?
No and no, they need nothing extra, a routine is impossible. You just take the chaos that your relationship and life is and try to keep it together. You won’t go out seeking thrill, for that you’ll just stay in.
Understanding - How well do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?
Communication is important and with the life you lead it’s you get to know each other better than you know yourselves. They may not know the specifics, but they know what it felt like, how you’ll deal with it and how to work with it. You three are very aware of your partners in that way.
Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?
Friendship and love are great things to them, that matter a lot. They’ll value your relationship a lot, but you’ll be among all their other friends that they have. Magnus is very dependent on his friends and loves them with all his heart, while Alex isn’t as open about it but cares a lot.
Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.
You three often go stargazing on the balcony of the Chase Place. The balcony self is locked most of the time - and only you three have keys to it. It’s your spot so to say, and looking at the stars reminds you of how small you are and how lucky you are to be together now.
XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?
Alex is the punch-first-kiss-after. Not very affectionate in the traditional way, but affectionate in her own way. Magnus is more of the hugs and holding each other than Alex, although he needs to learn.
Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?
Magnus will be more silent and in thought, think about you very often. He might seek out Alex or other friends to help him cope with you not being there. Alex will be more aggressive during training and might start making a lot of pots to get her frustration out. She wants you next to her, but you’re not there, she can’t have you right now, and she doesn’t know how to deal with these feelings.
Zeal - are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?
A relationship when you have till the end of times to life doesn’t matter a lot on the surface. You guys might break it off sometimes, but you will always come back to each other. They would fight for your relationship as they would fight for their friends - with great passion.
