as much any of us as mods don’t like to involve ourselves in talk blog drama because we feel that it truly has no benefits, we do believe that we need to address the situation to protect our game because the things being said are very unfair. this is one and only time we are entertaining the things being said on talk blogs.
on opening, without naming any names, there was some writers joining who we truly didn’t feel comfortable with them being in our environment due to multiple past experiences we have dealt with first hand and also knew of second hand. it was not based off ‘assumptions’. creating a safe and fun and drama-free environment was our priority creating this game. we took a subjective vote as mods, and dealt with it down to how the majority voted. there were multiple mods included in this decision. so we politely explained the situation to the writers. it was two writers. there was no malicious intent behind our decision, we simply wanted to do what was best for our rp, for everyone. we didn’t feel the need to continue the conversation with them after as we truly didn’t feel like we were going to see eye to eye at any point. like we said, this is the one and only time we’ll be addressing a situation like this in referral to anything posted on a talk blog as we feel that providing a reason only continues to encourage the toxic and bullying nature that certain talk blogs provide a platform to.
