hiiiiii renu! okay ive been thinking about poly!dean all week and like. when he first meets poly couples or poly people on cases and theyre talking about their relationships hes like "oh a love triangle" or "oh is this just an open marriage" he doesnt really Get it as an identity at first, and then. he meets a poly hunter trio and they spend more time talking at the bar and deans like how does this work can you really love more than one person and be in a committed relationship and theyre like YES and super chill and not at all put off by his questions cuz theyre like. this is coming from a place of genuine wondering, from someone whos always felt different and thought society didnt have a place for him. and dean is like shooketh once he realizes like omg i think im poly. later the hunter throuple sends him a link for a poly forum/online community and dean spends all night "researching" for the case but hes actually just going through the forum reading all the different messages and hes just flabergasted. hes like i am not an Other i belong there is a word for how i feel and the kind of relationships i want and the love i have in my heart could never be wrong
