polydeath co dependency probably went INSANE after alex saved clear and they thought the death chain was broken

i mean all of their friends died horribly and they just have each other but they are not 100% sure its completely over so they just cling to each other as humanly possible and try to go on with their lives

clear was probably used to be alone but now its what scares her the most. her two boys, what was life like before them?

imagine carter coming to terms with the fact that terry is gone forever, no matter what he does nothing will bring her back, but as much as it hurts at least he has two people who refuse to leave his side (clear an alex are well aware of his drinking problems) and soon he realises he cant leave them either, not after being saved by alex and then seeing him in the hospital after clear’s house almost exploded
