Promotional artwork for Halcyon Plume, trying to capture that studio Ghibli feel with my own special twist. The polecat (below) keeps coming back to me as an important character as they are the sort of guardians of “Sociel“. Mapping it out and keeping paths open for travelers. The character is actually part of a separate frame from the background so It can be animated. I also took the liberty of finishing the flying fish on his switch sign. This will hopefully be our horizontal banner when we table at Titancon on April 29th. As well as *Ahem... my new banner for social media
