Not many books made it over to New York yet from Tom’s collection that was currently being housed at back at home at their parents’ house. It was fine though, they didn’t have nearly enough space for them in their new digs and a bookstore was becoming his favorite place to snag some AC while their own unit was acting up. They’d already been soaking in the cool air and old book smell for a while when they stumbled upon someone in the history section that had also caught Tom’s eye. “That doesn’t happen to be an illustrated copy of A Short History of Nearly Everything in front of you is it?” Tom spoke up pointing in the general direction of the title the man stood in front of.
