exploring the fired ending of my green lives au. definitely the safest outcome for them all so i started messing around with the idea of them ending up with some kids LOL

i have the colors and personalities figured out, just gotta figure out accessories and stuff idk! Might also change their names not sure. Info about them below!

Mossy is very sweet and easy to get along with but has anger issues and can flip on a dime. they’re the most likely to show off that they’re half imposter which would definitely cause some problems throughout their life. They’re very protective of those they’re close to and if someone hurts a loved one their go-to solution is always to throw hands

Slate has a CRAZYYY resting bitch face but they’re actually very chill and a really good listener. Definitely the most responsible of the three and good at mediating arguments. Pretty indifferent to being an imposter hybrid, definitely not one to brag about it. They’re pretty good at staying cool under pressure

Plum comes across as disinterested and sort of rude/blunt, but they’re actually just really shy and have a hard time letting anyone get close to them. The only people they really trust is their family, and even then they’re sometimes embarrassed to associate with them out of fear their identity as an imposter hybrid will come out. They don’t like being different and the possible danger that brings along

i’m tired I just wanna post 😭😭😭 PLUM’S REF IS FAR FROM DONE IDK WHAT TO DOOOOO i think giving them a mask would be cool but these are also meant to be more like casual outfits.. genuinely i think they would look so so so cutes with a scarf but MOSSY ALREADY HAS ONE so idk if i should do 2 scarves.. they’d be very different scarves to be fair. it’s so hard to accessorize these guys when they’re just ovals LOL

Mossy fits viper. Anger issues? Maybe a snake trait!

Slate being a phantom fits their personality well, the quiet one.

Plum being a ss could hinge on their worry of being perceived differently because of their imp genes. Literally changing their skin to fit in better or hide if they ever got found out!

WAIT YOURE ACTUALLY COOKING SO FUCKING HARD HERE this also makes raising them so much fuckin harder HAHAHA

can you imagine trying to raise your hybrid alien kids and one of them straight up turns invisible, one of them can dissolve shit, and the other can just turn into somebody else 😭😭😭 would be funny as hellll polyinterns got their work cut out for them

So I was looking at Plum, Slate, and Mossy while mixing their parents colors together (mostly because I was curious how you came up with those names and colors, ahem) and I noticed that Plum has like little to no green coloration in them at all!

Anyways, that leads to my question:

Is Plum’s color the reason you made them the most passive out of their siblings? Or was it a roll of the dice?

Plum’s color is actually meant to be a mix of all 3 of them!

I was messing around with opacities and whatnot. Since mixing green and red makes brown, adding purple to that gives a sort of.. purpley-brown lol, I try to emphasize that by giving plum a reddish-brown undertone and brown freckles.

Their personality was definitely a roll of the dice lol! But I feel like it also works with plum being reddish and mossy being greenish, opposite on the color wheel, that their personalities are most different from one another.

What are the children’s tolerances to salt?

Do they have at least a mild resistance to it?

They do indeed have a resistance! I’ve actually had a mini comic idea about this in my head for a while which i definitely will doodle soon because i think the kids would absolutely try to eat one of the lunches being served at school despite all of their parents warnings of “DO NOT EAT ANYTHING MADE OUTSIDE THE HOUSE ONLY EAT THE LUNCHES WE GIVE YOU”. Yes they know the health risks, it’s the equivalent of a kid allergic to peanut butter eating a reese’s pb cup just to get to experience it 😭💔💔 Plum would be crying, Slate would be trying to call their parents, and Mossy would go on some long winded rant about how they’d rather die free than be grounded for the rest of their life

If they eat something really salty it absolutely will kill them, but if it’s like mildly salty it will just be risky at best

idk how to word this. if Green comes in contact with salt they will literally start dissolving, if the kids come in contact with it it’ll probably end up like a rash/chemical burn where it will definitely hurt and be harmful but it will not be nearly as bad. eating it is significantly worse than just touching it (considering in the actual show we see the imposter fucking EXPLODE 😭😭) but they can survive it 👍

thankfully though considering that ALSO in the show the imposter seems disgusted with the burnt salty pizza BECAUSE of the salt, I think somehow the kids would be able to.. “smell” salt ?? somehow?? and it smells really really gross so they usually do avoid anything salty just because it seems yucky
