Peter in Pac Rim

EHEHEHEHEH so, Peter would almost certainly fill a Newt-like role. He’s in the K-sci department, but not because he got a relevant degree. Instead, it’s because he’s weirdly gifted at figuring out when/where the Kaiju are going to attack. He works with Ambrose, who WAS a ranger but retired to the K-sci division after getting grievously injured during his last fight.

Peter is the one who decides that the best way to beat a Kaiju is to become one with a Kaiju, and he obviously has to perform this drift when Ambrose isn’t around because, let’s be real, Ambrose is like, 90% of his impulse control.

When he and Ambrose do the second Kaiju drift, it’s an enlightening experience for them both because it isn’t like they can really hide their feelings for/about each other in the drift. But Peter figures it won’t be too awkward because, with the information they got, they’ll be out of jobs soon and it will no longer be office fraternization when Peter kisses the heck out of Ambrose.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the interpretation of him wherein he is not at all related to Grindelwald and was just essentially kidnapped and held hostage, but also I don’t think I have anything interesting to contribute to that. So I’m hoping to write him as someone who had some radical ideas of his own that Grindelwald was able to use to get Graves to willingly participate (at first). I mean, we know Grindelwald is great at manipulation because of how he interacts with Credence and we can infer he did something similar to Dumbledore.

The main thing is just trying to see if I can pull it off without making him unsympathetic. I’m probably going to have the same problem with Credence because I want to explore how he’s a person with a lot of pent-up anger (again because I don’t feel like I have anything interesting to contribute to the more prevalent interpretations of him).

(also I have made a note to describe magelights when I go back to edit. :B)

its because they don’t make enough money on ads because ad revenue isn’t a valid means of making money on websites anymore. it’s the same issue all around, they can’t adapt so they’re going under :/ they should have given fair warning about this too they just did it overnight with no information about it except for a same day press release

paying money for their services is something most of us users would have agreed with and done (even if not being happy with it), but what they want (400$ per year) is ridiculous. I maybe would have paid 50$ bc I’m not really using it anymore but have a lot of old stuff up on the internet.

what do they think how many ppl are going to pay this? not enough to keep the site running, because most will just turn away and find another site. or maybe they realize they just f*cked up big time, but we’ll see I guess.

YOU SAID OR BUT I'M GONNA TAKE THAT AS BOTH. Ambrose in Dishonored cause I have Interests.

OKAY SO I haven't finished a Dishonored game yet (I'm so bad at them, even on easy *sob*), so I was kind of flummoxed for a bit as to what in the heck I was going to put here. Then I realized that it is AMBROSE, so here's what I've got.Ambrose used to be like, a palace guard or something like that, but after an attempted coup (or maybe successful coup, since those seem to happen a lot in Dishonored??), he was left very injured and he has this vague memory of a hallucination he had while he was trying not to die that involved this smarmy little shit with black eyes. He survived, but he had to retire to a life of training/teaching others because he could no longer perform his duties.At any rate, years go by and now something has happened to the prince *koffpeterkoff*? Who's grown up and hot? And Ambrose has to save him?? Except Ambrose is so very not at the top of his game anymore and he ends up having another hallucination (except it's not a hallucination and he knows that now) of the Outsider offering him power and because Ambrose can't NOT help the prince, he accepts. BUT HE HATES IT SO MUCH and the only reason he doesn't do something drastic is because he has to keep the prince safe (and the more he travels with him, the more Ambrose realizes that the prince is a genuinely good person).I feel like the Outsider spends a lot of time laughing his ass off @ Ambrose, though. Poor Ambrose.
