Friendpins up! And every other battat ship I could think of immediately

sooo i nearly didnt have anything today cuz most of my art from today was just My Persona Being Sad but then i got struck with hyperfixation upside the head in LITERALLY my last class sooo i drew all of these within an hour. oops?
going one by one umm i just kind of wanted to draw friendpins. frankly. i was like "hmmm i miss friendpinssss" and then i got the pose idea... Friend is labeled because my irl pointed at it and went "aw kitty :]" and i went. "Yeah thats friend!" I like thinking about friend being super touchy/physical in general partially because they like it and its fun to see reactions to it, and also because it kind of brings control. specifically restraining battat here is that. yea
This one is one i drew because of the aforementioned friend going "kitty :]" and i was like. Monster kitty...... so i wanted to try and fit as many legs on this freak as possible. then i snatched that quote from a friend post i saw on here but can no longer find D: genuine tragedy because part of what makes me ill about friend is that its a creature named friend with the mercy eye colors.... idk if i find the post ill edit this and link it here :]
ok the battat ship art of every battat ship i could think of was INCREDIBLY spur of the moment but i made it work! The idea behind this at first was just "oh no im more polyamorous than i thought" but THEN it turned into "battat finds it extremely flattering to be acknowledged, especially by his many names." Something about being known and loved really gets him flustered what can i say! Tenna's proportions are way off whoops, kinda a natural quirk of sketchbook art made in like 5 minutes though...
Gonna do a quick breakdown of each name- Tenna calls him Mike, duh, Jongler calls him boss, Pluey uses music to say something like "batts!" Friend calls him friend because something something "we're friends, right?" I stole the pippins nicknames from modernmouthmike, ramb calls everyone luv so its really in the tone of voice there (silly) (also he's just kind of affectionstarved), andd then theres the SOUL calling him his real name :] yknow i couldve made a joke about him having 7 million different names in tumblr tags but i was too shipful. unfortunate
last one is just him :] the battat :]
every time i do one of these while im tired im like "thisll be way shorter than the others!" and then i turn doodles i did in an hour into This. Okay

So! These two have much less thought cuz I drew them at like. 5 am. But I do have a couple things!
Then there's Jackie :] this is based on the whole reason he exists, obviously. The whole scenario here is if battat took them up on the offer of spin the bottle,,, the buffering was fun to do! I can never get over the idea of this green little freak not comprehending that everyone ever wants him. Why so multiship... in my head btw every battat ship has the core dynamic of the other character loving him and being like wow this relationship is awesome ! And battat is like wow I can't believe they tolerate me. Probably won't be that way for long...... boy we Love You. I mean they /j
With the first one, I think the idea of friend as a shadow works REALLY well. I mean... they already kinda are. I didn't do their eyes colored bc I'm lazyyyy. I considered doing this fully colored and shaded but uh. It was 5 am. I'm not doing that,, /silly
I have more friendpins thoughts but I'm saving those for a comic and MAYBE an animatic
