Is it possible to be a demisexual poliromantic? I've been very confused lately about it. I have a girlfriend whom I really care about(its a recent relationship), but I haven't 'got over' my other crushes and I recently got a crush who really got my attention, yet it didnt affect how I feel about the others. I'm still very confused with all this. Sorry if this kind of question is not allowed, it's just that I didn't know someone to ask about it. Thanks :)
Hi! Just so you know, there’s not a lot of advice like questions that I won’t answer. There may be times I’m very limited with what I can say, as of now. Unless you’re saying ‘polyromantic’, I actually do not know what ‘poliromantic’ is. But I will say, I’m sure you can be both. Just as people can be demisexual and pan, or demisexual and gay, I’m sure you can be demisexual and poliromantic too. ^^
As for your crushes and girlfriend, I totally understand. It might be hard if you’re more prone to crushing on people. All you have to know, and to tell your girlfriend if you wish, is that you have self-control and that you’ll never act on the crushes. I have a really bad problem with that as well, and if I ever got a datemate, that’s exactly what I’d tell them. -mod Jay
