The Polysexual Flag
—Or simply “the poly flag”
Definition: A person who is attracted to multiple genders, but not all.
Being polysexual is often confused with being polyamorous. They are two similar-sounding terms but are very different in meaning. When someone is polyamorous, it means that they date multiple people at the same time, with all parties informed consent. I’ll come back to this for more detail later.
A good way I’ve found to make a distinction between the two is shortening polysexual to “poly” and polyamorous to “polyam”.
