Session 10&11

Argenti went into town to learn more info about the red dragon and Alexander went into town to get some fish. bro got a whole salmon. the dingbats then went to the area they discussed with the lumberjacks and there they set up the area and once it was night time they cooked the salmon. the small red wyrmling was seen to fly in the nautical twilight sky but didn't land where the party anticipated to. instead, the wyrmling went to a camp. that camp had cultists not of the bodian church but of some other organization. the party went to investigate, hiding behind shrubs and humdrum as an owl to perch on a branch nearby.

the leader was a gnoll druid with a staff adorned with baby humanoid skulls and there a wealthy looking maiden was brought over and there was sacrificed in the name of some entity known as Yeenoghu. The wyrmling participated in the rite with the rest of other humanoids, some of them were gnolls too.

Humdrum seeing that there's a chance to distract them flew up as an owl into the sky, turned back into their true self, hopped on kitty and threw a card from their deck of illusions. there the card that they tossed manifested an illusion of a red adult dragon and it was easy for humdrum to use that opportunity to tell to the wyrmling that he should make a mess of the place because humanoids are bad. when the wyrmling asked, "daddy?" humdrum said "yes, and." why wouldn't a bard know how to improvise?

and so the illusion disappeared and the wyrmling went ham on everyone with the druid running away and the party used that as an opportunity to attack the cult. the cultists fought like rabbid beasts by whacking with flails, gnawing on their enemies and casting scorching ray at 6th level. Asifra almost went down with Humdrum knocking on death's door. thankfully, Abel was able to stabilize Humdrum and after Alexander turning the fallen into zombies the dingbats were victorious.

After debating on how to bring Humdrum back to life and Keres ending up covered in green blood from the axe to the neck injury that Humdrum took, the party sent Kitty to heal Humdrum because they didn't have a way to heal them. While Kitty flew for help, the party learned the following:

the cult that they fought was called The Brood of Y which is a cult that Baelia told Alexander and Argenti to look into

wyrmling lives with his grandmother who lives in Jaggot's Peak

(from Argenti coming back): there is an ancient red dragon named Jaggot that lives in the Black Mountains

the wyrmling causes this destruction to the forest not due to being bored because his grandma has been asleep for 10 years but because of something that the wyrmling calls "The Hunger" and this "Hunger" he cannot really control. it's like being an alcoholic that cannot stop the urge to drink till a drunken stupor

Meanwhile, Kitty took Humdrum to K'vlazaron's lair: The Cave of No Return. K'vlazaron saw the wounded Humdrum and healed them. Humdrum felt sorry that they had to ask for help from K'vlazaron and that it was supposed to be a gift and after K'vlazaron asking as to what happened, Humdrum said that they were dealing with a cult that were worshiping Yeenoghu. K'vlazaron jumped at the name and said that hundreds of years ago Yeenoghu was a demon lord that terrorized Mekhor and that's how Mekhor got gnolls and tabaxis and tabasons (dog people; Argenti is a tabason). "Gnolls themselves aren't an issue, they only become an issue if they worship Yeenoghu."

afterwards, Humdrum returned to the party and seeing that no one needed to longrest they just short rested to the sound of Humdrum's song of rest, got healed up and went off to Jaggot's Peak; where the wyrmling's grandmother lives

Session 8 & 9

After accepting K'vlazaron's quest to help him deal with the bullshit his town been going through, Abel and Humdrum went to meet up with with the rest of the party at the gate. Keres was making flower crowns out of cotton grass and stacking them on top of Jason who Asifra shoved inside his backpack. Then the party went to explore the town. there is a commons place, streets with paved roads and sidewalks with some of the streets having trees that separate the sidewalk and the road, and overall it was a nice and tidy town that is Bogton.

Then they left the walled portion to the suburbs and Abel noticed a hill with a cave going inside. Humdrum, knowing that this is K'vlazaron's lair, told the party that they shouldn't go in there especially since its called The Cave of No Return. Abel noticed that Humdrum was hiding something but didn't give a shit and heeded Humdrum's words. Then the party got to a crossroads. One way is to a lumber yard where there's information about the red dragon that has been harrasing the forest and then the other way is to a super nice rich neighborhood which is where Edgar's Summer House is. The party decided to check out the summer house Edgar lend because the two people who really don't trust Edgar were busy spreading their gospel.

When they arrive and knock on the door, the meet a familiar face. The face of someone they thought they definatly killed by whale and crushing his skull and wearing a maid dress.

Humdrum, who was the whale that crushed him, was uncomfortable and tried to close the door. Abel stopped the door closing and asked the disguised bone devil as to how was he alive after having his skull being exploded and the bone devil said that they'd need to kill him in the nine hells to keep him dead. Then the party asked why he was wearing a maid dress and the bone devil said that is a way his father punishing him. "Though you did the job for me so I don't get why he's punishing me so," and motioned the party inside.

The house was an old house with creaking oak floors. Abel goes to the parlor and there were bookshelves and living chairs and a coffee table. Abel looked around and then looked towards the living room. There is a fireplace, and above that fireplace is a 3000 year old painting of a half aasimar half tiefling woman with most of the color faded and some of the paint peeling off. She looked like this and under the golden frame is a plaque written in necropian alphabet Stella Steqoz

Humdrum saw the painting and thought that it was Edgar's daughter (the player said the reason why is because "Stella looked too young to be Edgar's wife")

Then, the party found a powder room and yeeted and locked Jason in there. The bone devil then properly introduced himself as Toxin with Tartarus being his actual name but he prefers Toxin.

He hands the party a spellbook, one of those indestructible ones that you can't light on fire or wet it, which later on was handed off to Alexander, and there were spells that caught Alexander's eye to be steqoz’s better immolation, gasp of hidul, danse macabre, and clone (steqoz's better immolation and gasp of hidul are homebrew spells shown here). In the spell book there are also scribbles of handwriting, which is Edgar's, in necropian, infernal, abyssal, celestial and a language that the party cannot recognize. in the languages that are legible to the party are notes about how each spell works, other arcane notes, and random vents by Edgar such ass "the serpent must die" and "i hate my son"

Toxin hands another book that uses an indestructible spellbook as a medium with the number 3491 in infernal. When Abel was in the time before the hatching, he noticed Axdell Forge writing in a similar notebook but it had two infernal numerals. The text inside is in infernal. However, when someone who knows infernal reads the contents, it is sections of lorem ipsum, gibberish, and nonsensical poems such as the following:

pee pee poo poo take a dookie I ain't telling you shit you pookie

When Asifra read it, after realizing that he does in fact knows infernal, his party members questioned if Asifra has brain damage. Then, Humdrum took a better look at it and saw that the text was slightly blurred like a low res jpeg and realized that this infernal text is actually an illusion (i as the dm decided that hundreds of years old permanent-until-dispelled illusions blur as they age bc my goofy poem didn't work as a hint as i would've liked to)

Before Alex and Argenti met back up with the party, they did some canvasing because they wish to create their own cult (thus this half is known as the heretics). they got a total of 200 members which many of them were originally from the Bogton branch of the Bodian Church and they wished more "fire" if that's the best way to put it. They encountered a rat stealing pizza as well.

The two of them then went to a githyanki lady, mage and scholar, named Baelia for additional resources regarding summoning a demon lord and information about the soul injector. Baelia also asked the two of them to investigate a group known as the Brood of Y; a recent cult that have been very violent towards members of the Bodian Church for the past 5 years

then, everyone came together and exchanged information and the party met an unusually hyper tiefling girl (more like lady but y'know) named Hysteria who wore a smiling mask. the dingbats decided that she wasn't that useful because she was going to make everyone have a heart attack at any moment and so they left her be. Argenti did note that, as told by Hysteria, that she can talk to Ourgon by making markings on the ground

The party then went to the lumber yard and noticed a noticible population of gnoll workers and burnt logs. the party then asked around what happened. the supervisor told that "the little guy keeps burning our wood!"

"l-little?" Abel asked

"Yeah! a little guy! It's a small baby red dragon. A wyrmling." It is then that the party have learned that it appeared that the red wyrmling was burning things for the fun of it which is unusual and the fact that it's getting closer and closer to Bogton its very concerning.

The party then devised a plan to have the lumberjacks make a perimeter in the Dusk Woods and help them make something the wyrmling would be interested to burn and then have Humdrum follow the wyrmling as a raven. During the brainstorming part it has been revealed that Maurice the yellow flower crab spider can 1) cast web and 2) can polymorph into a raven as well. The dingbats did not question those facts, especially Asifra. (Humdrum's player suspects that Maurice is a spy but i'm not gonna say that Humdrum was suspicious of Maurice until it has been confirmed that they are suspicious of it)

session 7

this is gonna be short bc 1) nothing much happened and 2) i don't remember much (or at least much important things that did happen)

Abel was picked up like a baby by Estexev, carried and put next to a trash bin in an alley way next to the bath district. Keres noticed him there and they had some light conversation

Argenti, Asifra, Alexander and Jason were accused for signing at contract with a devil by Lilith and Olga (and my players figured out that Olga works for Estexev) and using a "signed" contract as evidence. Argenti asked Jason where the copy of the contract that she gave him and it turned out that Jason gave a copy of the contract to an imp. Ever since then the heresy half of the party has lost trust in Jason. (heresy half is Argenti, Asifra and Alexander. hero half is Humdrum, Keres and Abel). Argenti said that her contact Casey might help with the assembly of the quartz crystal to Lilith and Lilith let the heresy half off with a slap on the wrist

Maurice the yellow flower crab spider likes rough play

Alexander may perhaps has a gambling addiction and Lilith knows, or at least strongly assumes, to be the case (which is why Alex keeps asking for money all the time)

The party went to Larikan to visit Casey and Casey learned that a way to fuse a quartz via fabricate, and hypothetically and even larger quartz, is by first covering the pieces in oil of vitriol (aka sulfuric acid). There is ways to produce oil of vitriol but the easiest way of getting a lot of it is with the help of a black dragon (because they breathe (or more like vomit) sulfuric acid). the issue is that all black dragons went extinct and the last time Keres saw a black dragon was 600 years ago in Teshlish. with a glimmer of hope, there are rumors that there's a black dragon flying around in Bogton

While in Bogton, Abel, Argenti and Alexander met up with Humdrum and met K'vlazaron. Argenti and Alexander play up that Argenti was abused in the Bodian Church and wished to go to the Paskian Church in town for assistance. There, they were assisted by a nearly 700 year old elf bishop who is so old that he has wrinkles. He casted greater restoration and told a story that these "eyes of ourgon" were spread around my a cult known as the Church of the Flesh in preperation for a ritual to end the world 600 years ago. But then nothing happened and the black dragons disappeared. (one of my players later on off game figured out that Alvin Steqoz aka Estexev and Company were the ones who stopped that ritual and behind the extinction of the black dragons. Company refers to either a party (or more) that Estexev recruited for similar tasks)

Then, a mysterious muscular lady appeared. It turned out that whoever this woman is, who goes by Morgan Tesh, that Bogton was part of her territory that she gave to K'vlazaron a hundred years ago for an undisclosed reason and that the murders at night issue is her "marking her territory" and a way to bully K'vlazaron of doing something about the red dragon burning Dusk Woods and "if [K'vlazaron] cannot keep [his] domain then I want it back." Humdrum called her cruel and a bully and Morgan was just "yeah whatever" and went on doing her business.

Humdrum told the present party that it would be wise to work with Estexev to figure out how to prevent the hatching, bc he's the only guy that knows how, and then do the rest themselves

the party is now officially known as "The Dingbats" and Keres is the leader with Abel being vice leader

Session 6

Before everyone reunited, Argenti's group went to Famous J's, a small resturant with a hole in the wall for take out, to buy some contraband for future use. In addition, Humdrum takes the eye of ourgon from Harry, their father, by knocking him uncouncious and casting greater restoration on him. Humdrum said that they were even and that they don't want to talk or see him until this whole mess with the Bodian Church is over and polymorphed him into a bird. The bird flew to Borniva.

Then, everyone meets up at Steqoz Publishing House. The door was locked and the sign on the door said that the place was closed. By the way, its 10pm and the sun finally set. Argenti, wanting to fool Abel, made an illusion that she magically unlocked the door and made it open. Abel believing it, went through the existing door like a truck making an Abel shaped hole behind and in front of him wood shrapnel and glass. Everyone except Humdrum came inside because Humdrum is polite and casts mending on the door.

The door that leads to the tutoring section of the bookstore slams open and an enraged Edgar in his jammies stomps towards them and berades them for breaking in. Alexander for some fucking reason decieded that it was a good idea of trying to remove the choker, the eye of ourgon, off of Argenti. Argenti fought the whole thing and teleported outside via the almost finished front door.

Edgar explains that the eye of ourgon is something that is called a soul cache, a necropian magical device used to temporarily store souls before transferring them elsewhere i.e. a soul reactor. They are also used on soldiers so that the military could revivify their men at any time (because the soul aint going anywhere). To remove the soul cache from a conscious creature is to remove their essence thus the feral reactions from people and why if you remove it from them when they're unconscious they never wake up. Humdrum asked if its possible to track people or decapitate people from it and Edgar said no (which is true btw)

While everyone was inside the bookstore, Edgar dispelled the spell seeming on himself revealing his true form to everyone, albeit in a smaller size than normal, and revealing the welded in gold tattoos on his blue scaly skin. Argenti was able to read the infernal text. The one on the bicep reads "Do not destroy" and the back reads "Forever mine" with the symbol of Asmodeus at the base of his neck.

(here I the dm will comment on some of the things my players said about these tattoos. the comment on whether or not Estexev is a living contract is warm. the comment that he has a tramp stamp is colder but does points out a completely different detail about the relationship between Asmodeus and Estexev. I'll give a hint bc im a d1 yapper: even though a devil is immune to fire damage, there are some kinds of fire damage that are so hot that a devil cannot withstand it. examples of that are hellfire and The Pit™ with a note with The Pit is that pit fiends are much more tolerant to it thus their name (it still fucking hurts tho btw). now imagine the kind of heat you need to have the gold to be in to burn into a creature that can swim in lava. this is more than just a silly little tramp stamp because if it was then why would Estexev would want a such painful procedure done to him for something as goofy?)

Before they would continue about the prospects of them having their own base Estexev does something that may have been a mistake: whipping out a contract. For the sake of summary the contract does not ask for souls of the party but merely 10 minutes, which is how long the eclipse lasts btw, that would be allocated by the Bodian Church to release Ourgon be put somewhere else. However, due to the poor wording of the contract and Argenti being the only one who could read infernal, the party decided not to after Argenti and Estexev, two lawful evil characters, arguing the fine print of the contract. Estexev warned that this would keep the party safe but Humdrum thought it was a threat and just told Estexev to make a better deal and went to teleport to Bogton. The rest of the party left Abel, who shut down for the night, and went to lodge in the Bath District. On the way there, Alexander asked for Jason to copy the contract to make a "non-devilish" version due to concerns that the two copies of the contract that Estexev made (that being the original and the copy he magically produced) would be used to track them but despite those concerns they kept the other two copies with them

Meanwhile in Bogton, Humdrum saw their boy, their pookie, K'vlazaron (art made by @funy0nionion)

Humdrum saw him talking to a tall platnium blonde man with blue eyes. To wait them out, Humdrum went to the park/marketplace/plaza right outside the town hall to get some late night funnel cake. Humdrum came back, K'vlazaron invited them to talk and introduced the man as Jarax. Later as K'vlazaron and Humdrum got a place to talk privately and telepathically, Humdrum expressed of the horrible things that happened today and K'vlazaron comforted them and vented his own issues with his domain with issues with forest fires in Dusk Woods and the murders that have been happening at night where three people die every night. Humdrum was concerned and asked where to be due to the killings and K'vlazaron said that they can be in his den.

Back to Yock, in the Number 6 Tavern and Motel, Alexander wanted to experiment on Argenti by taking the Eye of Ourgon from her. He took it from her when she was asleep and noticed that she wouldn't wake up after taking the choker off of her. Alexander then considered that maybe if he breaks the choker he might set her free, but after thinking about it he realized that maybe would sever the soul to body connection and that he'll need to use magic, such as the spell soul cage, to transfer her out in such a manner. He put the choker on her leg and told Jason to keep watch. and that is the end of Magmonn 1st.

Magmonn 2nd came early in the morning just like any morning in Larnav this time of the year and the party woke up to have some breakfast.

Session 5

First, we started of with Abel and Keres with Edgar. Edgar said to have them think about it and invite them to go to Larikan. Abel and Keres looked into what Edgar is up to and they did figured that Edgar is genuine about wanting to kill Ourgon. The issue is that he seems to have an ulterior motive but it could either be that he wants to do something insidious or just wants to take the credit for himself. The spined devil from earlier came from the teleportation circle in the loft area of the apartment. Edgar and the spined devil have an argument and then after the conversation calmed down the spined devil left through the window. Abel asked what was that thing and Edgar replied, "That's Cax. A subordinate of mine. I fuckin hate him because he's the reason why I am the way I am. I don't care if he was my brother when he was mortal I still hate him and that's why I haven't promoted him for the past 3000 years."

Second, we go to Humdrum being inside the hut that they've conjured. They see through the window Vac flying towards the hut. Humdrum notices the same kind of choker that Argenti has on their father and apologized for yelling at him earlier. Harry didn't mind and was still at shock at what happened to Gurt. Humdrum came out of the hut and there was greeted by Cax. Cax tries to hand the payment for spying for Edgar, which is a vial of potion of longevity, but Humdrum crushes it and stated that it's not what they wanted and demanded to see Estexev. Cax obliged and lead the way.

Third, on the way to Larikan, Argenti felt something hugging her arm. It was Jason. Jason said he joined them because he wants to kill Azev because he did the same thing to him first and now towards the other siblings and he flashed, with his psychic abilities, an image of a memory of him and Azev.

A thing of note is that 3 years ago, Jason became a warlock of Ourgon and at that same time Jason became much less alert and present in reality. This memory flash is exactly from 3 years ago. Alexander convinced Jason that he should make the Bodian Church to burn and in a way started to shift in Argenti's thinking. All this time she was a devout believer and wanted to be accepted. But maybe Alexander is right, the church must burn.

And so, in front of the gate of Larikan, everyone met up. Humdrum tells everyone that his mother was killed and this hilarious scene happened

Chaos ensued as to what Edgar really wants from all of them and, again in front of the gate where a bunch of college kids are smoking weed, admits that he wants to kill Ourgon. With everyone having a sense of justice, everyone was on board. Though Edgar, without showing it clearly that he in reality doesn't know what the hell to do with them because it's 9pm and he needs his 3 hour beauty nap, was throwing ideas at the wall like making sure the Bodian Church doesn't have access to another pure quartz crystal because the purer the quartz the more the quartz can hold a soul as a phylactery, to straight up just go to the headquarters and fuck shit up. Alexander realizes that they're discussing this in the open in front of some weed smoking college kids and asks if Edgar could provide a base and Edgar said yes. He also gave them a teleportation ring that can cast teleport circle and it's a modified version that can also teleport to teleportation circles in other planes of existence.

Afterwards, everyone split up. Argenti's group talked to Casey, an albino orc lady, and she talked about how there are ways to synthetically create pure quartz, which the process would take years to create a 50 pound quartz crystal, and that the choker that Argenti was stuck with wearing is perhaps cursed and requires a greater restoration spell to undo it.

The group that Abel was with went to Anya's workshop and discussed of as to why a devil is even interested in doing something that is technically a good deed. Humdrum theorized that it's perhaps he either doing it so that he'd be in place of Ourgon or that perhaps Edgar is following commands of someone higher than him.

Session 4

Humdrum's point of view

Humdrum quickly left Factory City on Kitty to fly back home. They came home to find that the door was unlocked. They opened the door, nothing suspicious in the mud room and then went to the dining room. There, their mother Gurt sat upright in the dining table motionless and nonresponsive. Humdrum talked about how dangerous the Bodian Church is and that they could be in danger. Trying to see if their mom was listening, Humdrum touched Hurt's shoulder. The part where the neck and the head connects slouched down and the head slid down onto the floor. The cut was made perfectly like a butcher cutting through bone with a sharp meat cleaver. There was no blood for the blood has been drained from her. The rest of her body stays still on the dining chair upright. Humdrum panics and screams and as they were screaming, their father Harry came and saw what happened.

"we have to get out!" Humdrum told their dad telepathically, "don't bother packing! We must leave! The Church killed her and they're now after us!"

They flew on Kitty to the outskirts west of Yock. The landscape is a flat moor with hardly any shrubs or trees; only grass, moss and stone with some patches of bog here and there. Humdrum casted tiny hut and the two of them camped there.

"Why did you keep this away from me? What is the point of this?"

"I didn't think that the face eating leopards would eat my face," Harry responded solemnly

Asifra, Argenti and Alexander pov

After Asifra got out of the tree the three of them were talking on what to with the quartz crystal. As they talk, a spined devil that was on the rooftop swooped in, threw some quills at them, and slid on the ground. Before he could even say a word, Argenti thought that this spine devil was weak and had no time to deal with him and cast banishment on the spine devil. The devil, disappeared.

Alexander made a deal with Asifra that if he helped them, he would not only get a camera, which are rare and expensive, but also see a storm. Simple minded, Asifra agreed.

They rested up and went back to the Bodian Church and on the way there they would see kitty flying west. There, they were talking about what they should say. There, coming from the dining hall, is Lilith and she saw them. She inhumanly quickly walked to them and the three of them. They reported to Lilith that they couldn't stop the 50 pound quartz crystal to be shattered and Lilith berated them. "If you didn't get the crystal to be shattered, then maybe you wouldn't need to find someone who would fix it for you!" Lilith scolded.

Then Azev came around, Lilith told what happened and they took the three of them to the clinic in the temple. They were blind folded and one by one they felt Azev's hands grip their shoulders, a large hunk of nail digging into their skulls and touching their soft brains and the sensation of something either a tongue or a tentacle licking some of their grey matter away. Asifra didn't understand why this happened. Alexander was angry that he had to be punished that way. And Argenti got the worst of it, with her sanity in the brink of extinction. She tried to ask Ourgon as to why that happened to her, possibly an answer, but her ritual to communicate with him failed and she was broken into despair.

After they healed up, they thought of where they could go. There's a rumor that the wizard mafia has people, or maybe ties, to Larikan College or Arts and Technology. And that's where they went next.

Abel and Keres POV

The two of them left Factory City earlier than the other three, and the two of them wanted to talk. They went to a tavern and there, standing out like a sore thumb, was a zmey. A snake man that is mostly a giant snake with two humanoid arms. He wore a fez and had a pink mustache. He wore a bathrobe with exquisite embroidery and he sat in the corner smoking a pipe. Abel and Keres sit in their table and later on, the zmey slithered over to them. He introduced himself: "I'm Andy"

"you're what?" Keres asked.

"Andy."

"Candy?"

Andy gave up and just asked Keres' and Abel's names. He then sat down in their table and then ask, "may sit? I can pay for anything you like" Andy and Abel bickered over how rude Andy is and then Andy dropped the bombshell of "so you have no interest in killing Ourgon?"

"what do you know of it?"

"I know someone. A friend of mine. He's been working on killing Ourgon and I think you can help him out."

"who is it?"

Andy gave him a business card for Edgar Steqoz. It has the address to the Steqoz Publishing House and a set of numbers that only Abel can recognize to be a phone number. After that Andy left and slithered back to his table. Abel told Keres that he was built to fight Ourgon and that he joined the Church to try to get a chance to get at them, and Keres told that she also has ties to the Church as well.

Later on, the two of them went to the Steqoz Publishing House. Andy tagged along because he wanted for Edgar to know that he brought them to him. In the bookshop, there was a magen as the receptionist and cashier. Abel asked to see Edgar and the magen did something with the crystal ball on the desk and Edgar came out from the classroom area of the bookstore. Seeing Andy, Edgar started an argument in infernal. The argument lasted for five minutes. Exhausted, Andy simply said in Larnav, "I've brought some friends for you, my dove. That is all," and bowed and left the bookstore.

Abel walked up to Edgar and asked, "so you know how to defeat Ourgon?" And the three of them went upstairs to the apartment above. It's an open concept area, a form of architecture that is rare in the 1050's MR but was common in the Necropian Era. A striking thing was the 9 foot long Baatorian green steel greatsword that was hung along with other weapons with it's tip appearing to be missing.

"Who are you?" Abel asked.

"Don't you recognize my voice?" Abel thought and then realized he hears the voice of someone he knew before the hatching coming from Edgar's mouth: Axdell Forge. An underweight skinny dwarf with blonde hair, blue eyes and was known to not know shit about technology. "I was a bone devil back then. Then, after three thousand years I've climbed the ranks, jumped into the pit, fucked my knee, and became a pit fiend."

"with a help of a friend. I've been in the process of killing Ourgon slowly actually, and based on my calculations I have 10 years left to go. But, this solar eclipse on the first of Lagmonn is an issue. All I ask is for 10 minutes of the Bodian Church not doing anything with the eclipse that day."

session 2 & 3

because i forgot last week

so our heros, after Asifra befriending a yellow crab flower spider and naming it Maurice, went to the bath district. some when flying on the griffon named Kitten, others went on foot and harrassed a cabbage dealer that Argenti has beef with. Yock's bath district is actually a red light district where minors, such as Humdrum, shouldn't be there. Though its more acceptable for minors to be there during the daytime, as it is right now, a minor shouldn't be alone. After finding the right motel, our heros found Garis Gaylord and questioned him on wtf is up with the quartz crystal. Garis said that it was Al Zakim because Al Zakim was payed to cast teleport on the 50 pound quartz and have it be teleported to Sir Glitterskin's manor. Argenti thought of what could've happened and concluded that, as Garis said, that Al Zakim just wasn't familiar enough of the location so it must have been teleported somewhere in Yock.

and so, out heros went to look for it. Humdrum cast true seeing on themselves to see if it might be hidden behind illusions. Instead of a 50 pound quartz crystal, Humdrum found a 14'4 blue pit fiend that has resemblance to Edgar Steqoz. Humdrum questioned him, found out that the pit fiend is in fact Edgar Steqoz, and questioned Edgar as to why would he need spies and minions when he's literally a pit fiend despite the fact that maybe Edgar is honest about how busy he is. Afterall, Edgar has a life here in the material plane so him also having a life in Baator would mean double the business of a man such as him. Also, Humdrum didn't fathom that Edgar would have alterior motives as well. This is how Edgar looks like as a pit fiend

Exhausted and wanted to go to the convention at the Forum in Yock, Edgar just straight up told Humdrum that the quartz crystal is in Factory City, a dense block of dorms that has been abandoned and was previously used to house factory workers that worked in the Cotton Factory (named after the Cottons that own it not that they magically create cotton there)

And so Abel, Asifra, Keres and Humdrum flew there first and Agenti and Alexander took a taxi and got there later. There, was a weird teifling

And he was chipping the quartz apart. Abel tried to confront him and the tiefling gave him non answers. Then, Argenti exploded the wooden barricade on the main entrance of Factory City and the two of them arrived. Humdrum tried to grab the quartz crystal but the tiefling, despite looking very anorexic, was able to keep it in his possession and turned into this thing:

And so our heros fought. what they didn't know is that there were these wizard ninjas, which were more wizard than ninjas, that had boots that let them teleport around and those wizard ninjas came out of nowhere blasting cone of cold everywhere. It seemed like all hope is about to be lost as Argenti, Alexander and Humdrum looked like they were fleeing, and humdrum fled as an coatl into the sky. but then, from the sky, a whale started falling down and fell down on the wizard ninjas and the bone devil. but the bone devil was mortal and only one hit left to kill him. and so, Abel crushed the skull of the bone devil and destroyed the quartz crystal

everyone came back together and everyone started arguing on what to do with the broken crystal. Argenti, in panic was eating her claws and picking up the pieces. Abel and Alexander was arguing that everyone will be dead if the Bodian Church found out and Humdrum said "nah I'm going to my parents and try to get them out of the cult!"

and as Argenti and Alexander being the remainder of the party stayed to discuss on what to do, there was this thing giggling on the rooftop

Prince of Madness

Session 1

It's 3 am in the morning and mass will start in an hour. Humdrum, a thri-kreen that is 8 years old (17 in bug years), is talking to their parents Gurt and Harry as they introduce to the Emissary of the Bodian Church named Lilith. Asifra the tan goliath comes from looking at combulus clouds because he's autistic about meteorology. Keres the fairy with brown wings and purple iridescent skin sits by the entrance stairs. Argenti the tabason (dog lady) helps Azev with the preparation of mass. Alexander the human goes around harassing the children by using his staff to act like he's clumsy. Alexander sees that all eyes go to a celebrity that has come to the new moon mass: Edgar Steqoz, a 7'2 silver skinned tiefling that walks with a cane. Edgar introduces himself to Asifra and Humdrum, which when shaking hands they could feel scales that feel like sandpaper, and then goes to talk to his colleague Olga who invited him. When Alexander tried to eavesdrop on them they spoke in Kurbonese, a language that he didn't know. Abel the warforged that always has eyes on him for what he is is on the second floor peering down over the chapel hall from the second floor. Abel sees the ditzy Jason Gills who has been having his head elsewhere since he became a warlock of Ourgon.

Abel taps Jason's shoulder and tells Jason that it's time. Everyone goes to their seats. On the way there, Edgar sees the warforged and introduced himself in Necropian. He then started speaking in Larnav, the common tongue of the region, and saying that he only knows some Necropian because he studies it and asks if there was more warforged that woke up with him. Abel said no.

First they sung the hymns. Then, it was Alexander's speech who he by the way forgot the script somewhere so he had to make up some things. This entertained Edgar to the point that he took out from his pouch a small bag of popcorn. This made Alexander angry because it's rude to eat during mass so he goes to a random guy and asks how devoted he is. The guy said that he'd die for it. And Alexander asks to prove it by giving a ceremonial bone dagger and the guy went to the altar and as he was about to slit his own throat he was stopped by Argenti and went back to his seat. Then, Jason was baptized as he ascended to the rank of moth as he was baptized in dinosaur blood, a heresy towards the they/them god Pask.

Humdrum didn't like this whole thing to the point that in the middle they had to go and vomit in the restroom and afterwards went to their parents' house.

Alexander was terrorizing Keres for not coming in the chapel (she was terrified) but eventually he let her go and started focusing on Edgar. Alexander not liking the dude, was all like "do you know the amount of blood I had to shed to get to my position?" And Edgar said "same. I had to lick boots to get to the top too."

While this is happening Azev took Argenti to his office/room and told Argenti that

On the first of Lagmon, which is 35 days from now, there will be a solar eclipse

She needs to wear an eye of Ourgon necklace (which she failed the charisma save so she doesn't want to remove it much more)

She needs to gather people to check on Edward Glitterskin's progress on the soul injector

Eventually everyone gathered together in the market, with Humdrum joining to make their mother happy, and everyone went to the Glitterskin Manor. Humdrum came in first via griffin named Kitty and wanted to warn Edward that there's cultists coming his way but it turned out that he's in leagues with the Bodian Church but the two of them had a nice chat over some tea and cucumber sandwiches.

Then, everyone else came in and Argenti asks, in an inconspicuous manner, how's the soul injector is going. Edward said it's going great besides the missing 50 pound quartz crystal. He said that the last person who said what happened to it is Galis and he said that the wizard mafia took it away and Edward said that the place Galis would be is in the Bath District
