Today we look at @sixty8chicago version of a light holding pomade. Tin/container- (5/5) color/scent- (4/5) Application /styling (4/5) hold/shine- (5/ 5) overall (18/20) price-$20 Base- water Washout- 1 wash Tin/container- The same 4oz as the heavy pomade but this time with a twist off, grey. Still No branding on the container and has the same go on the library but this time it says light pomade. Still loving the different, professional look. Color/scent- Dark blue in color just like the heavy as and the same no scent aspect to it. Still love the color and the fact it does not have a scent. Application/styling- I started off applying this pomade to dry hair and I did experience some tug and pull which was a little odd to me considering it is advertised as a light pomade, Usually I don't get any tug and pull with them. The way I applied this pomade the days after was by damping it up just a little and after that there was no tug and pull at all. Styling was quick and easy due to the fact it didn't not harden as fast as the heavy. Hold/shine- This product is advertised as a light hold pomade but I can say that it is lighter than the heavy hold but no way it's a light hold. When applied to into my dry hair it was more of a medium/heavy and with damp hair it's a medium hold. I really enjoyed this hold on this pomade more mostly because it looked a little more natural and it still lasted all day with little no no hairs out of place. I did notice that my natural waveiness did come out, just a little, but it did not affect with the over all hold. Shine was like the heavy, not too much when first applied and turned a little Matt when dried. Overall- I really enjoyed using this pomade over the heavy hold. It held very well though the weather conditions and with me running around at work. I would recommend anyone that just loves medium hold pomade as well as heavies.
