This is a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Au where the characters' roles are swapped, but only the roles played by the character being swapped; their original personalities will be the same.

1. New protagonists (United Six): I wanted to include another group of friends to star in my Au, and I thought it was a good idea to include the characters:

-Muffins -Dr Whooves -Octavia Melody -Vinyl Scratch -Bon Bon -Lyra Heartstrings

If you already know them, they are the community's six favorite background ponies. I have to say they are my favorite characters even if they weren't relevant. Ever since the episode "A Vocation of Life" in season 5, episode 100, I was left wanting more, but I was hoping they would make a spin-off series about them, but as you may know, the series has since been canceled, and I was left wondering how the background ponies' story went. And so I made this AU to continue telling the story of the six ponies. I have to clarify that the six ponies will be the same as their original versions, with the same profession, same personality, and everything else. I thought it was more unique that they were the ones who wouldn't change. It will only be the world and secondary characters that will change, and that includes the original six ponies. Another thing is that I wanted to change the name of their group because the name Background Six doesn't fit with this story, so I named them The United Six!

2. New Equestria: I didn't just want to change the roles but also the locations. I can't tell you much about the new Equestria yet, but I will give you a sneak peek. Ponyville is, in this universe, a former Equestria capital that is now a city suspended in the sky on a rock. It's called Cosmic Heights. It's a city with dark medieval touches and is where the United Six live, as with all the Equestria locations.

3. There won't be cutie marks, and they will be exchanged for magical talents: It's something I don't understand—why wouldn't there be cutie marks if they're in every generation?—but I wanted to change something and decided to have them exchange them for magical talents that reflect their tastes and hobbies. I'll also say that any pony can use magic if they're not a unicorn, and that also applies to any MLP creature like griffins, dragons, etc. But unicorns can imitate anyone's magic. In the series, as in G4 and G5, we're told that Earth ponies can also use magic.

4. Pony Design: I'm also going to change the original designs. I'm going to give them all clothes and each pony their own outfit that reflects their magical talents and what they do. I want to give them their own style to the character design.

5. Babs Seed, Silver Spoon, Diamond Tiara (The Talent Scouts): These three fillies will be the new Cutie Mark Crusaders, but from their world. They don't possess magic like the others because they don't know what they're passionate about, and they'll try everything to see and help others acquire their magic.

6. Legends and Their Own Origin: I want to expand this universe with their own origin, legends, and things that weren't resolved in MLP's G4.

FINAL: This is my first AU and original story. I came up with the idea a while ago, but I was editing it and started to doubt what I wanted to include and what I didn't. I hope this story caught your attention. I'll be posting character art for both the main and secondary characters, but it'll take time, and I hope you're patient because I'll be busy with different projects I have in mind.
