For those of you who are in the process of caring about the sardonyx piece i am working on, i would like to lament that i am the worst at backgrounds, but I like to think i am good at lighting, so while i gave actual shaping of the background a lot of thought and effort, more/better effort is going into the lighting of it. (btw i really like where it's going and I think many peeps will like the final product. also also, the fire pit doesn't show very well because sard is smack dab in the way, but it's light is being very prominent. hope that's not dumb.)
