Damn, don't you love when alternate and entirely fictional history becomes the "real" history people believe in? I think this series needed a disclaimer because Anglos are too dumb.

I also absolutely love how he had the whole CSP wait in the hallway/staircase BEFORE GETTING IN THE CSP ROOM AND STARTING THE MEETING because he was GETTING A SHAVE. In the CSP meeting room. No one does it like Poodlespierre.

I like that this is set in the eternal time period of 1793. We're not even in 1794.

Anyway my summary was super accurate.

Also the baroness he mentions? I think that's the one he fucked. And had a kid with. The one he says here that their executions will be "a special treat to me, as I grew up in the shadows of their château in Arras".

What château? Big towns weren't built in "the shadows of châteaux"??? That's not how feudalism worked??????? Unless by "shadow" you mean like very far away in the countryside:
