How to Clean Your Pool After a Storm

Last week, with all the severe weather and heavy rainfall happening across Texas, we thought it was a good time to help you prep your pool for the worst! This week, with all the sunshine and warm weather, it’s the perfect time to clean and maintain your pool, especially since the torrential rain and debris put your pool in disarray.

Cleaning your pool after a storm:

Remove any tree branches, leaves, and debris with a rake or skimmer

Inspect and clean out the pump strainer and skimmer baskets

Inspect pool equipment and restore power

Clean your pool by brushing the walls and floors and then vacuum

Shock and balance the water

Run the pump and filter

Turn on the pool heater
